Totally agree about coming out fired up. I think you should always be fired up for a football game but especially when you have the chance to upset a team the caliber of Bluefield!! Go Blues!!

Agreed, Race makes great decisions but if he is pressured by a great pass rush, it will very likely be a long night for the Richlands passing game!! Just hope we can get the running game established which would in turn slow down the pass rush some!!

I am gonna say Richlands 10-7 with a late field goal by Levi Forrest lol Seriously, it looks like Bluefield is the real deal just based on the scores of their games and what people have said about them. I know Richlands will come to play. I feel Richlands needs to establish an "effective" running game and mix in the short passes. A methodical approach is likely Richlands best chance. Bluefields speed may very well be the difference. I know Blacksburgs sure was!!! Hoping for a good game

I am biased since I am from there but I would go with the West Virginia Mountaineers!!! Exciting offense!! Plays in a good conference!! Great QB, especially this year and an early Heisman hopeful in Will Grier!! Defense not too shabby either!!

Wow!! I guess they assume only 2100 people can fit in Tazewell Middle, which may be about right!! Schools received 1,000 tickets each to sell. Spoke to Graham High. They sold out of 1,000 tickets in an hour

What day is this game being played?

I'm not much on rehashing stuff but with regards to last years team. That team had the potential to be great. Don't get me wrong, getting as far as they did was a great accomplishment but the potential was there to go further. The way they were coached, for example, subbing 5 in 5 out almost the entire year. The players could not get into a rhythm. They did not go to an 8 man rotation until the district tourney game against Graham. Should have been used all year. And I agree, the best athlete on that team was not utilized correctly. He should have ran the point. When they played Union in the Regional game and used the best athlete on the team aka Scottie Ball at point. Union had Mitchell on him and he couldn't stay with him. Scottie at point made great decisions. He didn't have to shoot. He was always looking for the open man. But it is all what ifs at this point!!!

Honestly I am not sure how all this stuff will work out. I assume District Tourney play will play a part in how the brackets turn out. Anybody with much more knowledge than myself know how district tourney play will affect things?

As a wheelchair user, I take offense to your "maybe a wheelchair game would suit you". Yea, maybe those guys cant dunk or whatever but those guys that play wheelchair Bball have more heart, guts, determination, etc etc etc than all of these D1 and Pro Bball players put together. I admire the guys that play wheelchair ball. They go at it with reckless abandon. Flipping their chairs over and all. I've never went that extreme with it, but I give them mad props for what they do.

Just a thought Re: concrete bleachers. RIchlands has concrete bleachers and they took out about a 10 foot section of metal railing at the 50 yard line and installed a 4'x15-20' platform on the front of the stands. If the aisle on the front of the bleachers is too narrow for a wheelchair, maybe put a platform at the top of the current ramp leading to home side. Just a thought. Side Note: Not sure if Bullitts track is used for meets. Richlands is and the platform did eliminate two running lanes (I think)
