Well, I do know we lost to Brookville pretty bad Logan Thomas's senior year at Brookville back in 08 I think. On a side note, we did get revenge in 2010 on the way to the state final. :)

I think Appomattox is beatable and Union is very capable of doing it. Appo may very well win this game easy. Many picked Dan River to beat Union and we know how that turned out. Any given Friday!! Or in this case Saturday!!

I myself like the avg and current seeding like the VHSL shows. But I also like the cheat sheet that gives maximum and minimum points possible and potential seed ranges. Either way, I am ready for the final standings and see where everyone is going. Going to be a fun playoffs

Based on Helpers cheat sheet, If Dan River wins and gets max rider points and Richlands gets max rider points Dan River would outpoint them by 1 point. that would drop Richlands to 4. That is unless Appo loses. Then that opens up a whole new can of scenarios that I know the G-Men faithful would love to see happen. :)

Totally agree. This is by far the most talented team Richlands has had since the 89-90 team that went undefeated in the regular season. Baseball team was young this past year. They have a chance to be pretty good the next couple of years.

Yes, Richlands will have about 7 seniors this year if I'm not mistaken. Looking for a good season for them this year. I hope they can make a run in the playoffs and finally get that long awaited Regional win.

A running game has truly been missed this year. Abingdon definitely exposed that last week. But to answer the question. Yes, last year was a better team and much more balanced on offense. I have been pleasantly surprised with this years defense thus far.

I did notice that!! I am going to try to go over and check it out before the game Friday to see what kind of view it will be, if I get there early enough. What am I saying?? I always get there early enough!!! lol

I miss watching Richlands football from the top of the stands at Ernie Hicks Stadium! Wheelchair seating on the 50 is great but prefer higher up for a better view of the entire field!!! :)
