There is a clip of App vs Lee on the Virginia prep site. I can't seem to paste the link here. They have what looks like a couple good receivers and a speedy run game, we will see. Can't really tell. Missing the drama of knowing what we are up against.

I was able to listen to first half, sounded like Lee was giving them a good battle playing with a lot of heart. How about the QB is he mobile or strictly pocket passer. What's the o line look like. Big O I feel your pain, been there many times. Don't know Parson from the man in the moon. But go back and read his post your talking about not having certain players. I really think this has been taken out of context by several people. Your question was why Richlands fans thought the out come of this game would be different than last year. His answer was to tell you the difference in receivers this year vs last. We only had a couple last year that were major threads. Hats off to Abingdon they out matched us last year. This year we had 7 players catch passes last night. Really think that this has been miss read, even the Poca transfer to Tazewell must of read it wrong, he came up with something from outer space type of comment.

Did anybody get a good look at the qb on the 2nd td. Perfect fake hand off, quick pump fake and rolls to left and puts it on the finger tips of the receiver going into the end zone. I'm still shaking my head.

One things is for sure, we seen a very good short strike game, tighten that up and this beast will grow.

I was looking down field from the other end zone side. I couldn't figure it out until explained here. Don't know that he touched but very close to, but put hand in front of eyes and wasn't looking for the ball. Didn't the one ref have the receiver between him and the defender, bad view?

We have been blessed to witness some very good teams over time. So when we look at this team we have some experience in what we see. They rate in the top four I would think, 1992, 2006, 2010, and this year. Total team speed and strength ranks right up there if not the best. They are another level above what you seen last year, deeper at receiver, deeper secondary, faster and stronger in the D, one benching 400 many others in the 300 range and will flat out lay the wood. Very solid O line. Solid running attack. And a QB working on bettering our best. Last year you may have been over looked a little but you have made sure that want happen this year. Sometimes I try to imagine how this team would have matched up with Wilson last year and Wilson took the state game to overtime. 2A is at a whole other level this year. Union is at another level from last year. Abingdon is at a level we haven't seen before, so who knows but we shall soon find out.

Abingdon should try to schedule Union and Bluefield, that old coach was a Beaver and Bluefield seems to be looking most years to fill a schedule. Would bet Union would love to have a shot at some 3A points.

Mr. Real Talk or Bob or whoever, I just don't think Abingdon has seen anything the likes of this Richlands team this year. And sure don't think they have seen anything like Bluefield or Union.

Who would you say the best team is Abingdon has faced? For me it will be about the trenches and who can enforce their will the best.

After Blacksburg it sounded like Abingdon worked on their run game in the Graham game. No doubt the coach and old coach are increasing the balance and ability to spread. Would like to be a fly inside both of these locker rooms, you have to know this is going to be like a major chess battle and the planning is pretty intense right about now. I'm glad the game will be played at Ernie. Last year them birds started out blitzing pretty hard, have to think that game from last year is stuck in the mind of everbody from Richlands. Going to be a great game, tell one tell all 12th man is needed, them birds are coming to Ernie and they are undefeated.
