  1. Hurley/East Ridge should be a good one if last years game is any indication to what we'll see this year.Sammy Mitchem impressed me with how hard he is to take down I think Hurley will have a easier time of it this go round with Reed,Sammy and Rawlings out peforming ER's backfield.
  2. If you live in Southwest Virginia and work at The Dairy Queen,Dollar Store,Food City or the Hardware store or any toher business you are in directly in the Coal Business...Coal still drives the economy..Some Gentleman from Ky are introducing a bill to strip the dictatership power the EPA wants to have over the industry we better hope that goes well and Cap and Trade has to be over turned. For all you folks who drank the Obama Kool _Aide hows that hopey,Changey thing working out for you? He's the biggest hoaxster since chicken little.
  3. Talk about telling it like it is...
  4. Sure can the Charlotte area is huge...
  5. Didn't the NC team beat the Beavers last year when they went up there?
  6. Justine Dotson "Doobie" rocked the mullet to Lance.
  7. He's going to SWVCC Sam and then on to Pikeville or ETSU.
  8. Sam I might be wrong but I think Larry Mosely climbed up there and lowerd it over with cable and tied it off. Thats what I was told at least.
  9. They need to rename this game every year the Cardiac Classic good win Hurley glad to hear that Reed broke the ice as well with a good run .Had to work late and missed it but sounds like they still have that no quit attitude going and that will take them far keep marching foreward Rebel Soldiers.
  10. 17 kids you have to know they love the game and believe in Coach Crigger to even practice and prepare....Good Luck TV
  11. Not easy to get Ky teams to play either..Took an act of congress to get SV to honor there deal a few years ago.
  12. He wound up in college to prepare for life..He got a 2 year scholarship from SWVCC then he'll transfer to Pikeville to finish his Biology major and do something in the medical field. UVA Wise offerd him so did Pikeville,Pikeville came up with quite a bit but it's time to begin life. I'll miss watching him play but then again im his dad....Thanks for asking though.
  13. Grundy got better as the game went on and Pikeville was a good team. I think in a real game Grundy would have put it on them pretty good. East Ridge surprised me Brad Allen has them playing ball and there statrting to bang on defense as well. Haysi looked like there down bad from last year and Hurley looked better than last week. Just a scrimmage though Im sure they left a lot in the bag. Starting next week it's for real we'll see then.
  14. Reed is a good kid and does any thing asked of him by his coaches without hesitation. I'd love to see him have a big year. Hurley probably has one of the maturist teams in the BDD they only lost 4 or so from last years team . Ability,Motovation,Attitude Ability is what your capable of doing Motovation determines what you do Attitude determines how well you'll do it. They have ability should be motovated and from the kids that come throuh my door that I see often they have the attitude to do it well..Great bunch of kids I hope they get it done this year.
  15. The VHSL sure went overboard I think on this, nearly all schools offer a weight lifting class and most of the time it's a coach teaching it and whats the big deal if they work some on technique..If there in full pads thats one thing what Pulaski was doing sounds like somebody had it in for them. I'd wager all schools do the same thing in one form or another.
  16. I think Reed Justice may well become the go to guy in the backfield Mapper..The kid has put on some weight and a lot of muscle and has a ton of determination. I cant wait to watch my little buddy pack the rock next year. Greg and Brandon have a good bunch coming back they should do well.
  17. Grundy could very well be the spoiler this year in the SWD.. Surely hope so.
  18. Doesen't surprise me he seems to be anti American in a lot of ways.. We know so little about him I think he came from the same guy that cloned Dolly the sheep lol...
  19. You guy's have took your lumps the past few seasons glad youve turned it around..
  20. They better come up with a vaccine quick...
