As a team I have no doubt Bluefield has better speed than Richlands. I am a Richlands fan through and through. We have run into tough teams time and time again and somehow someway we play with every tough team. Salem in 2004 was the best team as far as speed I have ever seen play at Ernie Hicks. But our coaching staff instilled a great gameplan in those kids and they were a turnover away from winning the game. I have full faith in our coaching staff that they will have a great gameplan coming into this game. I think our kids will be pumped for this homecoming war. Richlands wins by 7.

Single A should be wide open next few years if all of this goes through.

But that would open things up for Addison and Davis and now Schweingruber. Some people tend to forget that RHS has a lot of speed as well I do not know if they will match Bluefield or not, but those Richlands WR's can get the job done.

Abingdon has a lot of skill players coming back. Including Henderson and Bailey. But I dont know what kind of lineman they have.

Austin Fuller will be great no matter where but how cool would it be for Joel Elswick to step up and be the starter for RHS this year. And Austin back at receiver with Davis and Addsion. That would be really cool.

Who has the coolest uniforms in swva? I think Richlands has sweet uniforms, and I really like the black and orange in Honaker. Those two are the top IMO.

Rasnake and Muncy are good, but who else will help the Dogs this year?

Possible contenders are also Percy Harvin, and Tim Tebow along with the running back from USC Cj Gable.

A lot of players from SWVA will be heading to Emory as well. Isnt Steve Brown and TJ Salyers going there too. It might as well be a SWVA caravan. lol

Yea I remember that game it was at Gate City and they had like a Tight End Screen that went for 6. But honestly how is Richlands not the favorites. You have Matt Davis who will be hands down the best DB in the District. I agree with EH 31 if Wicks doesnt't win the DPOY in the SWD much less the Region I will be shocked. Austin Fuller is arguably the best all around player in the state. Zack Pruett led the Blues in tackles against Rockbridge. Ben Addison WR or RB will make a lot of plays and had a great season last year. Not to mention all these Blues have a ring. So with this core of players coming back how are they not the favorite? I understand that anybody can be beaten on any giving Friday Night but come on saying that Tazewell will embarass Richlands thats a little too bold my friend.

Ben will be good but Richlands will win again. They have a great senior class coming up. Fuller Addison Wicks Davis Pruett C.Fuller Blankenship Fajardo Presnell and Cordle have been working hard all off season to take the Blue Necks back to State. But its a long season and everybody knows the SWD is the best district and every game is competitive so anything could happen.

What about Schmitt did he graduate? He is an awesome white guy up there lol.

Rumor has it that tazewell has a transfer any truth to that?

How is Richlands' season going so far?

It would be cool if Thomas and Julius found their way back home for that one too. But not likely.

It seems like Greg Mance can take a team of PE class students and make them a competitive team. But I think Doug Marrs and Bobby Wyatt are extemely good coaches as well. They always have a good team year in and year out.

They have talented players as well to compete in the SWD.

CC can not play on the road period. James after that close game with Richlands did CC not get blown out by Graham the next week at Graham? CC fans complain about not getting respect. If they could win on the road against the rest of the SWD then they would get respect. But I think CC's plan to beat everybody next year is to poke other players in the eye under the pile like they did last year against Richlands. Mcknight's eye was so messed up after the game when I went to congratulate him. And Caleb's face and neck were scratched all to pieces too. Sounds like a good plan to win lol.

Im looking for Tyler Bailey to be one of the best receivers next year from Abingdon as well as Davis from Richlands. Who will be the best wideouts for the rest of the district?
