Take the old Carolina Pottery exit off of I-81. Then a left at the bottom of the ramp. The school is on the right just after going under the interstate. Very easy to find. The exit number is 66. Google maps says 1 hr, 35 mins from Tazewell to Sullivan Central. Not much further than playing at Virginia High, 15 minutes or so.

Actually if both teams were still in the same district, i would pick Union over Clintwood this year based on what i remember both teams have coming back. But i do think this matchup will be one of the best of the entire season in SWVA. I haven't seen all the schedules but it will be hard to find a better game week one.

With this schedule, Clintwood can win the Cumberland and LPD titles in the same season. LOL

Great way to start off the season vs Union! That'll be a fun one week 1. GOnna be hard to get use to seeing all those cumberland teams on there...

I could be wrong but i believe the MED plays district games at 7:00 instead of the usual 7:30 for the rest of SWVA.

Interesting to see Union on the schedule for Marion. I like new matchups. And its good to see VHS back on there too. Can't wait for football season...

My girlfriend was able to land some free tickets from work but we are passing on the race. Heading to Greensboro for the ACC Championship on saturday and sunday instead. Good choice i think...

With these results tonight, does this put Abingdon into the regionals?

Wow, that's surprising to hear. As a graduate of PH, the Abingdon game was always the one you'd wanna win the most year in year out. PH had a nice run of beating Abingdon during the 90's but other than that it was totally dominated by AHS, as you said before. Sad to see it go if indeed true...

Maybe Carroll should have been invited to the Arby's...

I don't know much about Paul Johnson but GMan couldn't be more correct about Lane Kiffin. Thank goodness Pete Carrol left USC when he did so UT wasn't stuck with him even longer.
