  1. Gra 34 Taz 7 9:30 4th shaq 10 yd run
  2. Gra 34 Taz 0 4:00 in 3rd Worst I have seen the Dawgs play all year
  3. Graham 20 Taz 0 at the haf 14 points off fumbles inside 10
  4. Some of us just don't have a lot to crow about this year, give it some time.
  5. Comb through the messages, you will find plenty. Just look for anything regarding southbound or falconman. Of course theirs is more delusional than actual trash talking...
  6. I would actually have to say the non pass interference call at Honaker last week
  7. I was always picked on in school but did I go off the deep end? I just used it to better myself. I was always tought if you are being bullied to defend yourself. Don't start anything but don't just sit there and take it either.
  8. Don't even get me started on that one. The idiots that so opposed the idea aren't even the ones affected by it. I figured I should be able to go out back where I live and be able to see them where they wanted to place them. I was and still fully support the idea! The problem with it is a money family in Bluefield was able to lobby the board and get what they want. Plus I know for a fact that Mike Hymes originally supported the idea only to turn on it after his reelection and be the deciding vote... Our board is a bunch of idiots. They let money control what they think and do. You were also right about the projects for Russell. The county will not do anything to help benefit the young they are still stuck on their old money ways. When they finally do something like the new technology park, I fear it is too late.
  9. Bottom line is that the people that ref the games are not getting high salaries for being a ref. They don't go through all the same training that the NFL does. Some areas do seem worse than others for the refs but I don't think I have ever seen a game that was perfectly called.
  10. Just sad that teams this bad are in or have a shot at the playoffs...
  11. I didn't say he ruined it and I won't take away the fact that he was a good coach. He could have been much better though. There are several instances of how he handled certain scenarios very badly (I don't want to point them out and single out people publicly though). I am out there every friday night support the Dawgs through thick and thin. I don't have kids old enough to be in school yet. I do know people though and I listen to what they say. I know it's impossible to make everybody happy, but when I hear of several players that are now out of school talking about how bad he handled some situations I think there is some truth to the matter. I have more respect for our program than a lot of people do and I will go on the record and say I respect Wyatt for some of the things he did. Unlike others and what some people say/think, Wyatt played who he thought was best. He didn't let parents or fans coach. Also I don't blame one guy there are several factors that have led to what is now. I am not part of the mob that seems to go from one scapegoat to the next. I just call it like I see it.
  12. From my point of view, what has Boucher done for us really in the last several years? There has been promises of broadband in new areas, most of the areas have yet to see it or the funding for it. Russell Co has received all of the new business. What has Buchanan Tazewell or even Dickenson counties received. I am not saying I think Griffith is the magic bullet but I think Boucher has been in there too long to matter any more. I wish there were congressional limits, never should be in there any more than 12 yrs. Plenty of time to get something done but not to call it a home. As far as the cap and trade, it is written to where it will not kill coal but greatly devistate it. The real problem with it is that it does nothing to promote cleaner energy. You don't have to change anything just buy more credits and charge more for your product. In the case of power we all get screwed on that. So I ask why isn't Boucher and Griffith doing something about promoting cleaner energy in conjuntion with saving coal? I don't think anybody here will argue about our AEP bills skyrocketing over the past few years...
  13. Not that I am defending anything on the Abingdon side, but all I can say is welcome to the district. Everybody knows how the refs are at CC!
  14. Talk to some of the previous players and get their opinion on Wyatt. He did lead some good seasons, but I don't think you will find anybody that disagrees with the fact we could have been much better if coaches would have used players to their full extent.
  15. Other than Graham we have one of the toughest schedules. The Dawgs don't give up they are trying to improve anyway that they can. They are out in the weight room in the morning before school or after trying to improve theirselves. That is more work ethic and willingness than was shown under Wyatt. You can't expect a miracle turn around in the season. If they weren't improving they would be giving up even more points and not putting any up each week in my opinion.
  16. I was up too high to know for sure but I know he wasn't happy. Of course the fans weren't either. It was one of the worst officiating crews I have ever seen. Not that I am saying a fair called game would have changed the outcome, Hoanaker knew what to do to win against the Dawgs. But when they are chop blocking Shaq most every play and I won't even get into the the no call on the pass interference that was a two receiver tackle. As I said congrats to Honaker they would have won regardless because they knew what to do to win, but the refs should learn some rules before they ref another game.
  17. The record may not show it, but he has turned the team already and each week. I'm not saying that we will win every game from now out, but every week there is improvement. The work ethic of the players is harder for him than it ever was under the previous few coaches.
