Tazewell lost both games of a double header at Grayson Co. on Sat. They left a lot of men on base and had a few mental errors. They are 0-2 and play Marion home 2morrow night.

I know that Tazewell season opener is home 2morrow night against Carroll County. Then travel on Sat. to Grayson Co. for a double header starting at 11 a.m. But if the rain comes like its supposed to ... not looking promising for the games.

Im hoping Siena, Minn., and Cornell will win today. Especially Siena since I have them in the sweet 16.

BAD! Now I have 1 elite 8 team and 4 sweet 16 teams wrong. The only upset I called right was Murray St. UTEP let me down and Richmond both I had going to the sweet 16. Then Gtown lost and I had them all the way to the Elite 8. Finally Marquette had to lose to make my forth sweet 16 team wrong. Wow my bracket is messed up.

I have them losing in the sweet 16. But a bigger upset with Richmond beating Nova to get to the sweet 16. Final 4= Kansas over Kansas St. and Kentucky over Duke. Then I think Kentucky will beat Kansas for it all. Hardest games to pick for me was UK vs. WVU-elite 8 and Duke vs. Baylor-elite 8. Anyone have Siena doing anything? I actually think they will upset Purdue and Texas A&M.

Duke will not win the region only if they play Nova in the Elite 8. But im feeling that Richmond will pull off the upset in the second round. Then Duke will lose in the Final 4 to either Kentucky or WVU.

Tazewell lost four players off last years team. But they also have two out injured. Both are seniors. So they will be starting all Juniors and Sophomores for a while.

Anyone know the official seeding for the tournament?

Will the ties in the district records be settled by overall records?

Coach Walker is trying to establish a program with some discipline and if some of the players can't take a little discipline then he doesn't need to have someone like that in the program. Its impossible to coach players that doesn't have discipline. TaX just said the rest of it here and in his other post.

Tazewell Boys won 80 something to 50 something last night and the Bland Girls beat Tazewell.

Its in Tazewell. I think the JV will play at the high school starting with the JV boys game followed by the JV girls and the Varsity will play at the middle school Varsity girls will start at 6 followed by the Varsity boys at 7:30.

Yeah but I saw Richlands play Tazewell (boys) the other day and Richlands didn't have a single point in the first quarter. Tazewell was up 25-0.
