As for all the people in Radford that I communicate with we RESPECT all the SWVA teams. What's not to respect? hard hitting kids that play the game hard. We left Honaker Saturday knowing we got beat by a really good football team, a better team on that Saturday maybe any and every Saturday. So to say nobody respects you is not true at all. Good luck and I really hope to see you in Salem in a few weeks. And YES I'll be pulling for you hard & loud. GO HOOS

Not crying by no means when you lose you lose. Sometimes theirs are just better than yours. BUT would like to see the face masking penalty cause that was a huge MO changer.

Great game. But Honaker's dogs can't compare to PH Glade's. Just saying. Both teams played hard and that's all you can ask for. Honaker fan & I were talking coming out and he said something I thought was quite funny, he told me the refs tried to take the game away from the Tigers. Would've like to heard him if Radford would have pulled the upset. Good luck to the Tigers hope to see ya in Salem.

Very quick and very small. that's what we are and it's not gonna change before Saturday. Power running game can beat us take time off the clock and keep our offense on the side lines. BUT can they stop us? Radford is healthy for the first time all year, got our center back, QB is finally healthy and over all our line is playing great ball. Speed kills but ya have to have the ball for that to happen. Prediction; really good game.

Seen both teams and from what i seen, Giles can win it by as many as they want. Coach Williams calls the dogs off early they will be up by 40 at the half. Giles IS that good and from being down the river this is as good or best team I've seen at Giles. They do everything really, really good. Had some games when they didn't preform as well as others, but it's that time of the year and they will be in a playoff mode. My prediction PAIN

Ward is a very, very good running back. But what i've seen from both Ward and Skeens is that Ward has a better team and Skeens has game changing abilty by breaking the long run at anytime. Ward being the best player in the west, don't think so. I'll go with Dixon. JMO

Been to every game this year (home games) and it's a good hall to drive from Radford to C-Ville 5 of the first 6 weeks. Very disapointed in the crowd, I'm up top and ticket prices are not that bad, have good seats, good people (My fall family)and i have watched some good football win or lose I'll support the players. Remind me again who or what is not about the MONEY?

Sorry if i offended had no intention of it if i did. That's why you play 10 games, a team should get better. Was not saying GW was a bad team cause i felt they were better than what we saw at Radford, but that was what i saw there. Skeens the best back i've seen this year(play Giles in a couple weeks so that could change) felt like if a couple guys step up that would make Skeens better and make GW a real good offensive team. Belive Galax team to beat, good players, great coach makes for really good team.

We (Radford) did have a hard time stopping Northwood's running game but on the other side we moved the ball with ease. GW on the other hand outside of Skeens played not so well aganist us, final score being 35-14 I really thought this one would go to Northwood.

High school roundup: George Wythe clobbers Northwood 35-6 in district football Did not see this one coming after seeing both teams play.

Southbound i don't post alot here but i do read alot and with all honesty you are my HERO!!!!!

Roanoke Times dosen't keep us informed very well on teams west of GW so not for sure what's down that way except we did line up for 2 qts aganist Northwood and I was impressed with the power of their offense it was very strong as in we gonna run it here stop us if you can. Defense had hard time stopping us (Radford) at that time i could have seen a 40-39 game. Now to the best teams, I've seen GW and Fort not that impressed both can beat Radford and we can beat them as well. Galax in my mind is the best best team I've seen this year. Is there anybody else down west that can beat Galax?

Fort's coach had a few questionable calls Friday. Hey they won BUT he really had some brain farts on his play calling.

Think this week will tell alot about 1A in the west. Radford pretty beat up after the beating Friday night, but hopefully we will be healthy, if not it could be a long night for the Bobcats.

Radford will be at PH Glade Springs on the 22nd does anyone know if there will be other teams there or just these 2 teams?

I LIKE GALAX IN THE MT. EMPIRE AND GILES WILL BE MORE THAN ANYONE WANTS IN 3 RIVERS. WATCH OUT FOR JACK'S BOYS IN AUBURN IN 1A, MIGHT NOT GET BY GALAX BUT DON'T TAKE THEM LIGHTLY.
