Martinsville will be lucky to have a couple of 100 people there. The last time they came to Wise was 2 years ago with a team who eventually won the state championship and I bet they didn't have but about 200 people from here. Just don't travel like they used to.
not many at all showed for the Radford game, and both teams were playing also.
trust me when I say this GATE CITY HAS OUR RESPECT. No one up here feels quite the same as this guy. Just hoping to have the chance to play for a championship.

Not to hijack this thread but Wyrick recently surpassed 2,000 career points. Male and female athletes reaching that milestone in the same year, not to shabby for SWVA.
Here's something that could be fun. How about a top 10 ranking of the teams listed on this site. 1 2 3 4 A whatever division. Just rank your best 10 overall. Use only the teams that schedules are tracked on this site.
It's Cave Spring....no "s" at the end. I lived there for a decade when he was in high school. Even refereed a few of his games while finishing college.
No, it's not SWVA. The image at the top of the homepage of this website clearly shows the SWVA boundary and schools represented. Welcome to the board!
hard to play and beat a team twice in same season, but it can be done. PM was the 2nd toughest team Narrows played behind Giles. Covington may have beaten PM but what I seen PM is tough and big. PM was better IMO.
Before the Giles vs Radford game Friday they are having a fund raiser for Eric Burnette. Was told it was in the cafeteria and it's 2 hot dogs, chips and drink for $6. all earnings go to the family.Thank you Giles fans
Eric is a senior football player from Radford High School who has cancer.
