I agree with razor cause the run game is something that needs to get on point cause we might get into some situations this year that we need to run some clock, and to be honest the run game didn't look as impressive as I thought it should last Friday. I'm sure the coaches know that and will have them ready. This is the best time of the year!!!

Prayers for the young man from graham, praying for full recovery. Great words Ryan and I to thought richlands looked really good, but there is small things they will need to get cleaned up and I know the coaches will take care of it. belfry looks primed for a third straight championship they have two Junior defensive lineman that will probably go D1...I think there names are Cole Bently and Rayquan Horton

I thought the blues looked pretty good, it was almost like watching a 2 minute drill at the end of practice, but to quote thundercloud, they can be good or great, the kids got to stay level headed and not read into all the hype, just really excited to have football back, it's the best time of the year

True redtiger, my first sandlick game was haysi against galax a couple years ago,(when they had peoples) I was standing on the visitors side cause it was the only spot on the fence open but I could've given the players a pat on the back as they ran by and even hear there footsteps hitting the ground...awesome atmosphere

Matt mcglothlin played at UT, from richlands also, Justin McCracken went to Liberty...I'd say 10-15 years ago it was alot tougher to make it to the D1 level around this area for the simple reason, technologies just wasn't as advanced, one guy that comes to mind that I thought could've went D1 from richlands is Jeff smeltzer, DE/TE class of 98...had the size and skills and was all state.

Brett clayburne's blocked field goal attempt by rockbridge county has to be up there and Austin fullers fake punt for a td in the same game has to be mentioned, Austin also had an int at the end of the game to seal it The most overall dominating performance (in my opinion) was 2010 at brookville in the semis. I thought we could win that game but not the way we did.

So how do the playoffs work this year...is it gonna be 2A east vs. 2A west for the state title or will u have a 2A east state champ and a 2A west state champ? Will we have a region champ?
