beano5 14 Report Share Posted June 26, 2007 well considering i was just playing there is no reason to get in a tizzy...you can in no way compare the whole athletic programs of either school as better...many teams do not compete against each other or against the same level of opponents...so in no way can you say either one is better...as of now...we are better in football and baseball...you are better in basketball...it wont change until the next season for each sport... Most of bluefield's time in aaa was as a very small aaa school, and they could have moved to aa earlier, and aaa wv to va isn't anything common to aaa va to va a. Quit playing the victim, graham has always boasted about playing up in aa, don't use some mismatch overrated excuse for the series record. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but my point is that, up until recent years, Bluefield HS had nearly double Graham HS's enrollment...especially prior to the late 80's. Since the enrollment numbers of the two schools have come closer together, so has the series record between the two on the football field...Bluefield no longer dominates the series as they once did, winning 8, 9, even 10 times each decade...although the overall series record is still enormously in favor of the Beavers.
