GHS06 10 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 only reason it is that high is because Louisville and Rutgers are grossly overrated.
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 And i suppose the ACC has to be the best Conference in the country. Hell, they put Wake Forrest into a BCS bowl this past season.

Hacker 82 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 I am an ACC fan, and I know that the SEC is a tougher conference year in and year out. Having attended UK, it was always fun to see a schedule where you could see Auburn, Alabama, Florida, GA, LSU, and Tennessee on your home schedule. Now don't get me wrong, ACC football is great, but we have a ways to go to get all the programs to a higher level. It has begun, but we need more consistency from UNC, UVA, Maryland, GA Tech, Clemson and Wake Forest. It has started and we should see some improved programs in the years to come. bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 SEC is by far the best conference in all of college football. But this past season. its a toss up between the bigeast and acc for second best
Guest JJBrickface Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 I think last year that the Pac 10 was better than the ACC but this year the ACC will be better.

But this past season. its a toss up between the bigeast and acc for second best [/ QUOTE ] I honestly thought the ACC was the 5th toughest conference last year....only ahead of the Big 12.....the ACC should be tougher this year.....its hard to get any worse... Sources, I do agree that Washington does play a very tough schedule......they sure didn't back down on the out of conference schedule and plus now all the Pac-10 teams play each other every year.....sucks for Stanford...haha

dawgs05 10 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 [ QUOTE ] I forgot about the big12, good call.... Michigan, Ohio State, Penn. State [/ QUOTE ] Actually thats the Big 10. As far as the Big 12 goes, I thought that the conference was very weak last year. When your top two teams (Texas, OU) have bad years and no one else does much you're not gonna have a good year. No offense to any Pac-10 fans but I don't see how these sportswriters of the world seem to think that teams like Stanford, Arizona, Arizona St, Oregon, Oregon St, Washington St, Washington, UCLA, and Cal are so much better teams than schools like South Carolina, South Florida, Clemson, WF, UVA, Kentucky, Cincinnati......I would take the latter teams over the first ones anyday
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 i always get those two mixed up. Bigten was the second best in my opinion. With those teams i listed . Ohio State, Michigan and so on

The most first draft picks from a single conference in a single draft and the most players drafted total from a single conference in a single draft. When you lose that type of talent in one off-season there's going to be a drop off. We'll see what happens as the young talent that was thrown into the fire last season begins to get some seasoning under its belt...

No offense, but I put zero stock in the opinion of any Big East fan judging the ability of the ACC, especially a WVU fan. Terrorists are more liked in WV than anyone or anything representing the ACC. That doesn't bother me, however, I find the level of hate quite amusing myself. I'm flattered that people of the Big East and WVU spend so much of their trying to hammer the ACC when no one in the ACC could careless about the Big East or WVU...
