Fun discussion for a cold day...

What foods do you eat that most others shy away from??? Or, do you have any "quirks" about the food you eat???

I'll start...

I love sardines in mustard, pickled herring, and greens (all kinds).

I have to have black pepper on my potato salad.

I won't eat raw tomatoes...I'll eat them cooked/processed but I won't eat a slab of tomato on a burger or anything else for that matter.

I only put salt on Dairy Queen and Wendy's french fries.

I have to have mustard with my bologna sandwich and mayo with my ham sandwich...I will not eat them any other way.

I've never met a rib I didn't like...there is no such thing as "bad ribs", they're all good, some are just better than others.

I will not eat a hot dog with ketchup...must have mustard.

I always add extra sugar/Sweet 'n Low to my sweet tea.

I have to have milk with pancakes/waffles.

I've got more...I'll add as we go...

I have to have vinegar on my greens.

Love my fries with mustard.

Won't eat a hotdog with ketchup either.

I think salad bars are a cesspool for germs and won't eat from one.

Love liver and onions!

Could live without sweets...for some reason I have never liked sweets much.

Prefer caffiene free soft drinks because the regular ones taste to sweet?

Must have 2 sweet n lows in my coffee.

I prefer mustard on turkey sandwiches. Nothing else. Just turkey and mustard.

Usually eat peanut butter on my pancakes. Also on ice cream.

Gave up carbonated beverages a few years ago and now I can't stand any of them. I pretty much only ever drink water, coffee, and/or tea now. (Aside from the occasional adult beverage, that is.)

I like to experiment with grits. Usually add some combination of salt, pepper, maple syrup, and Tabasco to them.

I eat most precooked canned food (like Chef Boyardee and Progresso soup) cold right out of the can.

If I eat at KFC or Pizza Hut, I usually become violently ill.

Agree with G-Man about ribs, and would extrapolate that to apply to BBQ in general.

Love peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.

Mix ketchup and mustard for french fries.

Could eat a 55 gallon drum of Zuppa Toscana soup @ Olive Garden.

Love Pal's french fries

The Brazilian steakhouses are worth the $45 bucks a person. WOOOOOOW!!

Extra lemon in tea

Love fried cabbage

Ultimate meal : Beans & Cornbread, Fried potatoes, macaroni with tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

I love potted meat either on bread or right out of the can.

I could eat brussel sprouts everyday

I go to Burger King for my burgers but have to stop at Wendys to get my fries.

Oysters on the half shell or fried but not oyster stew.

I can eat Chef Boyardee cold right out the can.

My pancakes can't have any butter on them or I won't eat them.

I love ketchup, but don't like tomatoes or tomato soup.

I could eat 5 pounds of blackberries at a sitting unless I'm stopped.

Chili, no beans.

I could probably exist solely on pizza if I had to.

I make it a quest to eat at every restaurant when I move to a new town.

As far as burger chains go, you aren't beating Five Guys, so don't try.

Haven't drank a non-diet soft drink in 7 years.

I like tea with my sugar.

Best breakfast food is corned beef hash. My goodness...

Amen to that, brother. When'd you move out of Carlisle? Been here since the Fall of '07.

Moved back to Va in August, getting a divorce so I needed a little space between me and the ex for now.

You could always join Zane Dale Christian's law firm...:D...

Funny stuff right here...

I've met him before, and he was very kind and cordial. Though those commercials have done his image a Hell of a lot of harm over the years. Pretty funny to read that the VO-guy was told to read it in that laughably awful fashion...

Plus, he's quite happy doing solo practice, and will reject any kind of help offered him. I know...

I eat horseraddish sauce on balogna samiches.

I will not eat kale.

I love "Stove Top Stuffing". I don't know why.

Cornbread is made in a round pan, not square.

I like deli baked bread instead of the "national brand" bread.

The pig is miracle of nature, it turns all other foods into pork. All Hail Bacon!!!!!!!!!

I accidentally ate one of my dogs "chicken treats". Shockingly, it didn't taste that bad.

I could eat breakfast for every meal.

I don’t eat chili on my Hotdog. That’s a chili dog, not a hot dog. Hot dogs should be dressed with mustard and onions and kraut.

I love fried bologna and cheese on whole wheat bread with mustard and Mayo.

If it’s grilled, I’ll probably like it.

Good premium beer is the nectar of the gods.

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches with mayo is to die for.

Grilled cheese sandwiches with a little ketchup is really, really good.

Biscuit and gravy (especially Hardees) with a slice of tomato on the side

Slaw dog, just chili, no onions

Home made potato soup with cornbread (made both Sunday)

Home made pancakes with hot syrup (hate cold syrup) fixed that today

Grilled cheese with tomato soup (add a little sugar, butter and milk to soup when cooking to make creamier)

Home made peanut butter fudge with black walnuts (made some today)

French fries with very little salt, like to eat them with ranch dressing or horseradish sauce

Like Hardees egg biscuits, but go to McDonald's for my unsweetened tea (like their cups better, keeps the tea cold longer)

Like coffee only in the winter--with sweetner and cream (couldn't go it black)

Life has many choices---eternity two

Must have unsalted potato chips with my sandwiches for lunch. I won't put any condiment on my sandwiches. Just bread, cheese, meat, lettuce, and tomato

I will only drink black coffee.

I drink unsweetened ice tea. No sweetener of any kind.

I have to mix my eggs with some form of "breakfast" meat either sausage or ham.

I have to eat my oatmeal every morning with blueberries and a glass of orange juice

I won't eat a burger without cheese.

I can't have tomato soup without at least two peanut butter sandwiches.

Ketchup on scrambled eggs.

NEHI orange and only NEHI orange curley fries, and a cheeseburger.

mixing "soup beans" with taters in a bowl.

Texas Pete on anything.

PB & J with Doritos

Buy pepperoni in the big sticks and cut off a chunk and wrap it with a piece of bread.

Is it just me or does a baked potato taste great with A-1 and butter.
