BHS03 99 Report Share Posted July 1, 2012 Just curious to know if people here who voted for Obama in 2008 will admit to it and also if they will be voting for him in November?
Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 This isn't as much a "decision" as much as it is a litmus test to determine whether the majority of the country will freely admit to having its collective head jammed inside the collective large intestine. ThomasDenton 79 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 Personally, I don't even think I'll vote this time. I didn't vote for Obama last time, but I really didn't want to vote for McCain either. I really want to vote because I believe it's my responsibility as a citizen, but these elections and politicians are so ridiculous it really seems pointless no matter who you vote for. GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 Just curious to know if people here who voted for Obama in 2008 will admit to it and also if they will be voting for him in November? Do you even have to ask me??? Did I vote for him in 2008? Not no but hell no. Will I vote for him in 2012? Only if I'm dead and someone steals my ID and voter's registration card and votes for him... sportsfan 21 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 According to the political mouthpieces....Virginia will definetly be a major swing state. We'll need all of the Virginia electorate to vote, therefore cast your chad(s), early and often ;0)

Im no Obama suporter and while I understand(and can support) some of what he is trying to do, imo he is going about it in the wrong way. He also imo has little to no spine. On the other hand there is Romney, I dont like him, and while I can slos support some of what he wants to do I think he will go about it in the wrong way also. Im a moderate and I really dont have a candidate and havent since I have been a registered voter!

Im a moderate and I really dont have a candidate and havent since I have been a registered voter! Same here! I do tend to be a bit more of a conservative, but most of the time I'm pretty much a moderate and I too think that everyone nowadays is either too far left or too far right. It's polarizing our gov't way too much, to the point that the Dems will vote against a bill (no matter what it is) just because it was a GOP idea, and vice versa. Ridiculous. Everyone needs to find a way to meet in the middle: the president, vp, and all the congressmen/congresswomen.
redtiger 1,742 Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) Amen! I hate party politics, its unpatriotic imo. As far as views im all mixed up and play both sides a little. Im probably left of center overall. Im very much a Socialist(but even that has its limits). I believe everyone should pull themselves up by their bootstraps, but it is our job(the country as a whole) to make sure that everyone has bootstraps. We should all be given equal opportunity, its up to us to shape our lives. Edited July 3, 2012 by redtiger

BHS03 99 Author Report Share Posted July 5, 2012 I voted for him in 2008. Never again! Thanks for your honesty Rocks. A lot of people have too much pride to admit when they are wrong. I voted for McCain in 08 and as a VA citizen will vote for Romney this year.
SteveEurkel 11 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 I'm just going to not vote, I guess when I don't vote then I can't be put to blame for the mess that either one of these morons will get us into. Obama is a coward, and loves to break the rules and piss people off. Romney is an idiot that says anything that pops into is empty head which in return makes us Americans look stupid. You want my vote? Promise me that we will drug test in every state for food stamps. Promise me that there will be less government spending on useless shit, do something other than butt in on other countries problems when we have enough of our own at home. The government is so crooked that it isn't funny and we americans sit back and allow it to go on. We have lost all control of the country and it will stay that way. our founding fathers have rolled over in there graves. guess its not to late to move to china or something :(
stu_bean 1,058 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 Voted for McCain in 08 and there is no way I would vote for Obama this year even though I really don't like Romney any better. I stay towards the conservative side but will support a democrat if I beleive they are the better choice. Seems to me like it is a lesser of two evils in this presidential election. Of course let's see who he tags as his VP...

Hacker 82 Report Share Posted August 30, 2012 Since the corporations, bankers and Wall Street will still be in charge, I don't see what difference it makes. Add to that, that we will still have a dysfunctional Congress, I see no way out of the morass until the people bring the parties back to doing the Peoples business. deuceswild 15 Report Share Posted August 30, 2012 Well, you can't form a circle with just two people. Me and Big Blue Alum will have to go and support gay marriage elsewhere I guess.
