I bet most of you all did not accept that explosion in caroll last night. Dad said one of the best halfs of football he has seen. I hope you guys are ready to step up and throw some credit to us this week. Stripes has been in an awesome mood all day. :D Dad has really come around to Stripes and seems to enjoy his company now. Dad said if we play like that we are unstopable like the movie with the train. Guys if we are on your schedule you better get ready. I think I was confusing them with someone else because I thought they'd blow the Falcons away. Still, a win is a win and I'm sure the AHS faithful are riding high after this one. A 5-5 regular season and a sub 500 5-6 overall record is nothing to brag about. Maybe when your 8th grade team is seniors you might have a winning season. Who cares about 8th grade when it is high school football? Talent itself doesn't win, but having coaches who know how to execute the plays to favor said kid's talent, that wins ballgames, as well as having a disciplined team, something Abingdon doesn't have. Well, it'd be good to have a win over a AA team for points, but they won't get you much with W's over other teams, mainly losses. So... Why don't you pick up some tougher teams? We have a tough schedule and dad said playing that really good Tennessee team will help us down the road. Dad smiled and said just like the Hokies when they play someone good they lose.
