futbolking 766 Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 Looks like a 7-3 Season and home playoff win. I believe they can do better than 7-3 this season, even with a tough schedule. Key will be lineplay. Graham will have one of the best lines they have had in several seasons....and they will be some youngsters on the line who will be around for another season or 2 after this one.... This team will have some potential....we'll see, D-2 is very tough.
dukey 31 Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 I think Graham will be solid.....tough schedule...where do the 7 wins come looking at schedule? Bland,Narrows,Tazewell then who?
stu_bean 1,058 Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 Why the change with all the 7:00 games instead of 7:30?
dshreeves 37 Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 Why the change with all the 7:00 games instead of 7:30? I could be wrong but i believe the MED plays district games at 7:00 instead of the usual 7:30 for the rest of SWVA.
futbolking 766 Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 I think Graham will be solid.....tough schedule...where do the 7 wins come looking at schedule? Bland,Narrows,Tazewell then who? I believe Graham can beat everybody on their schedule....but there will be 3 or 4 teams on there that could potentially beat them. Graham returns 19 seniors and should be very solid. GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted April 11, 2013 If some running backs emerge, it's gonna get real interesting. True, but it will be tough replacing all the offense (yards/TDs) that was lost to graduation...
dukey 31 Report Share Posted April 11, 2013 The MED is loaded.....Fort,Graham amd Galax will be very good
futbolking 766 Report Share Posted April 11, 2013 The MED is loaded.....Fort,Graham amd Galax will be very good I agree....and these teams will be battle tested come playoff time... Throw in Giles, Bluefield and Richlands for Graham....doesn't get much tougher than that for a regular season schedule.
futbolking 766 Report Share Posted April 11, 2013 If some running backs emerge, it's gonna get real interesting. I think they'll have a couple of decent running backs. I heard that a couple more kids have been weight lifting that didn't play last season...one upcoming sophomore has a lot of potential...they return a couple more RB's that saw playing time last season....Also got at least one talented freshmen RB coming up... dukey 31 Report Share Posted April 12, 2013 here my order of finish for 2013 Fort Graham Galax Grayson Narrows Bland But there will be some really good football games between those top 4 I feel the MED is the strongest in Region C in regards to football, the addition of a resurgent Graham and the quality of the others especially the past 3 seasons has really changed the perception of the MED. There are some good thletes and some really quality coaches.

Radford, Giles, Floyd County....those 3 against the MED's top 4 would be some good ball games to watch.
futbolking 766 Report Share Posted April 12, 2013 Damn! So he'll be 22 for his senior year??? Well, you can be 21 and still be in high school..... He'd have to pull a "Danny Almonte" on us to get away with playing football that long.
starcityfootballfan 517 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) 2013 Graham football schedule Thanks! According to the 2013 schedule Graham will host Grayson County on October 11. Graham hosted Grayson last year as well. Is Grayson being that hospitable or are they longing for the big lights of the big stadium? LOL! Anyway, and hopefully, this will be the year that the G-Men finally get the Devils in football! Aug. 30 at Bluefield 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6 Tazewell 7 p.m. Sept 13 at Richlands 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Grundy 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 Giles 7 p.m. Oct. 11 Grayson County 7 p.m. Oct. 19 Galax 1:30 p.m. Oct. 25 Bland County 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at Fort Chiswell 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at Narrows 7 p.m. Scrimmages: Aug. 17 at Mitchell Stadium (Graham, Lebanon, Radford, Mount View) Aug. 22 at Mitchell Stadium, Graham vs. Virginia High (benefit game), 7 p.m. Thanks! It appears that Graham will be hosting Grayson County two years in a row. Are the Blue Devils being that hospitable? Hopefully, Graham will finally be able to lay one on them in football! Go G-Men!
