Ryan4VT
I left college early today because I was unhappy with some stuff going on. When I got home I heard some funny noises from outside. When I went out there, I found my grandfather laying there. He had fallen 25+ feet from a ladder while trying to trim a tree. He was med-flighted out to Bristol. He has broken his pelvis and had a pretty sizable laceration on his left elbow. He is also in some severe shoulder pain, but they haven't said anything about that yet. The good news is that his back is fine. He has had 13 back surgeries and his back is pretty much a solid piece of metal. So hearing that it is ok is wonderful news. Just keep him in your thoughts if you could guys. He's 64.

Ryan4VT
Update: Fractured the left pelvis on the top and bottom. No surgery needed. Separated his shoulder as well as muscle and ligament damage. He'll need surgery on that later on. But they won't do it until after his pelvis heals. Looking like he'll be here until Friday then get transferred to rehab.
