hhstigers7327 Posted March 15, 2015 Report Posted March 15, 2015 Who are going to be the top teams in swva this season? Quote
Deleted Account Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 I'm setting the O/U on Graham's wins at 1.5. And I'm as serious as a heart attack: not one ounce of facetiousness. Quote
frito gonzales Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 Heard G-Men lost opener 10 - 3 at Giles yesterday. Quote
V-Cats Posted March 20, 2015 Report Posted March 20, 2015 VHS has a younger team this year, should still make a State run, but another title is probably a stretch. Honaker should still be good, Coach Zachweaja retired but Harding is still there & going for the VHSL career wins record. Obviously, losing Austin Ray is a huge hit Did GC really lose to Crockett by 22 runs? Quote
cityofRaven Posted March 20, 2015 Report Posted March 20, 2015 I'd be willing to bet the top 3 teams in the area will be Lebanon, Virginia High and Honaker. Union will be a dark horse and I bet Haysi makes a run in their last year of existence. Quote
hhstigers7327 Posted March 20, 2015 Author Report Posted March 20, 2015 Unless something has happened in the last week we (honaker) have no pitching!! I really hope harding gets the record. Has a good chance to get it because our schedule is cupcake city. Made me sick when I seen the schedule. Idk if anybody that we play in the regular season will have a winning record. Quote

Deleted Account Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 G-Men get run ruled again last night....pitiful. How did they drop a 5-4 game to Richlands? Is this Richlands's worst team ever or something? Quote
Ryan4VT Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 How did they drop a 5-4 game to Richlands? Is this Richlands's worst team ever or something? New coach. From what I hear, a younger team. Gonna be a long season. Quote
V-Cats Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 I wish Honaker and Virginia High still played, haven't done so since my Senior year (2013) Quote
Bearcat Bob Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 I doubt Honaker would want to play given that a few of their better players have transferred to VHS. The coach of the local high school near me told me they stopped scrimmaging and playing the private schools because they lost a player or two every year after doing so. Quote
frito gonzales Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Richlands must be bad to let Graham play them that close. GMan 1 Quote

Deleted Account Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 What's to explain Tazewell's feeble start? 0-5 with all 5 games by mercy rule. That's...peculiar...considering that program's proud tradition. Quote

GmanFan Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 It's been coming on for several years. Everyone can see it. Football team started out 4-0. Finished 5-6. Basketball went 0-25. Baseball starts out 0-5. Varsity boys 1-36 since the football start. I'm betting gmen baseball beats tazewell this year. Quote
GmanFan Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 In all fairness, baseball has really declined over past several years from Richlands to Tazewell to Abingdon to Carroll County, etc. Just not same. Quote
frito gonzales Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 Battle of the winless goes to Tazewell...they beat Graham in 8 innings. Quote

GMan Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Fort Chiswell run-ruled Graham again yesterday. Not sure what the score was 13-2, 13-3, 11-0...it was one of those don't remember which. At this point, does it really matter??? Quote
