Probably not, but certainly possible. It's the game that gave me the most fits in the Pick-'Em. rvtne216

This game was a real toss up in my mind. I actually picked Grundy first, then changed my mind. rvtne216

old_school 78 Report Share Posted October 20, 2015 Can Grundy pass the ball? If they can it could be a really close game. Tazewell is ok at stopping the run but are young in the secondary. The offense for Tazewell can move the ball and I've been kind of looking forward to this game. Not only because of the incredible Chinese buffet on the way down but because this could be a really interesting game. What's your thoughts Lance? If Tazewell can't defend the out and up to #5 then it will be a long night. I think the QB for Grundy does a good job. Don't be surprised to see Grundy pull out a win. stu_bean 1,058 Report Share Posted October 20, 2015 Well now that the topic has bee approached, I know of good places to eat at the halfway point. Are there any must eat stop down in Grundy/Vansant area?
gwave0333 69 Report Share Posted October 20, 2015 The only non-national places I can think of in the Vansant area would be either the Rainbow or Gino's. The Rainbow has been there for years but within the last couple years changed owners. They have your burger and steak foods but if you looking for a cold "beverage" before the game this is where you want to stop. Gino's is basically Italian Village but in my opinion better. Its located in a camper/trailer in the Vansant plaza but has no seating so you will have to eat in your car but well worth it. There's also a place called Dotson's that's about 5 minutes or less from Grundy that has pretty good home style foods and burgers.
Lance 228 Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 Christian Jackson will be the difference in the game. The kids got talent. On defense, if Grundy can ever figure out how to stop a basic trap play up the gut, the games would be a lot closer.
techfan 43 Report Share Posted October 23, 2015 I've seen them both play I see it same way as GMan I think Tazewell wins by a fairly large margin.
maizenbluedoc 11 Report Share Posted October 24, 2015 Had to chuckle at the 'places to eat' comments. Sounds like really backwoods to me.(BTW I was reared in Tazewell).

Frustrating.
