GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted January 6, 2017 BC must be going after Prairie View A&M's record of 80 losses in a row...
swva_havok_fan 1,261 Report Share Posted January 6, 2017 Yeah, I ranted on Twitter after UVa-Wise blew what at the time would have been a monumental upset over #2 Concord (Concord went to the D2 title game that season if I recall correctly) a couple of years ago that I would never go to a Wise game again unless he was fired, because it was his idiocy that lost them that game. Then I ranted continuously the following year... then finally they got the message at the end of that season from many observers and gave him the boot. He's pathetic. futbolking 766 Author Report Share Posted January 30, 2017 The whole fiasco was done the wrong way from the beginning. Who in their right mind would bring an upstart team into that conference and on top of that, not recruit locally (other than 1 or 2) on the team. They have to be losing money hand over fist. Maybe they can write it off as missionary work or charity or something... I had heard talk of the AAC starting football, but I think that fell through. cavalieratmosphere 6 Report Share Posted August 26, 2017 Lusk's first game as HC of the Rams has just finished up. They led 10-7 at halftime, but eventually lost to Cumberland (TN) 24-17.
swva_havok_fan 1,261 Report Share Posted August 28, 2017 As I posted on Twitter, Another heartbreaker for the Dew man. I hate it for BC, but love it for Lusk. He couldn't coach his way out of a Cracker Jack box.
cavalieratmosphere 6 Report Share Posted October 8, 2017 Just checked the football schedule for Bluefield. They're 3-3 so far this season. Not too bad.

VHSLhelper 571 Report Share Posted October 30, 2017 While not "in" the NAIA Top 25 poll, BC shows up in the "also receiving votes" part... 3 pts (1 guy ranked them 23rd?) making them ranked 31st Oddly enough, they're 31st in this week's Massey Ratings https://www.masseyratings.com/rate.php?s=cf2017&sub=12795

The contagion meets its Penicillin this week. Reinhardt (which the BDT misspelled, because of course they did) will win and probably in ugly fashion. Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted November 9, 2017 And I was correct. Bluefield was shut out, and had fewer yards (29) than Reinhardt had points (54). http://www.reinhardteagles.com/news/2017/11/4/football-eagles-smother-the-rams-on-senior-day-54-0.aspx
