Union folks…nothing to do with atmosphere but are those boys with last name Anderson all brothers on the Union team? I think I heard three different ones called out on plays.

Yes. The youngest, Carlos #11 has a chance to be special if he dedicates himself to football. The sky is the limit for him.

Hopefully, he will do just that. I know Rashawn (not sure if I spelled that correctly ) is an athlete and a half. There was no quit in that kid. Maybe little brother will strive to exceed even big brother.

Yeah it’s sad seeing Reyshawn go, he’s a gamer and one of the better Union QBs ever. I’m not sure what class his brother Keyshawn is in but I know Carlos, 11, was the youngest of the trio.

Pretty sure they're twins.

As some of you know, I live in south Florida and take in a ton of games (28 this season) due to games on Thursdays and Fridays because of shared stadiums and referee shortages. This year, I saw 32 different teams, and while all but 5 of those teams would solidly thump or mercy rule Graham and Union, there are NONE of those teams who play with the passion those kids played with today, and there is NO place down there that is in the same universe in terms of game atmosphere as what I saw today. I wish I had a video of it to show those people.

The majority of my family lives in upstate New York. There football is played on Saturday and a huge crowd is 300. I have a buddy up there who is coming to Bullitt next year to watch a game with me. I cannot wait:)

I always put videos on my Facebook page of our entrance and all the festivities. The first time he saw one it blew him away. I told him that in person is so much louder. In his neck of the woods hockey does that..

The Bears coming in with a police escort & then parading down the middle of the field to the opposite end zone & with that coach swinging the towel getting the crowd fired up then running through that inflatable Bear with that hammer. Nobody can  do a grand entrance like Union!

The guy with the towel’s name is Chris. Great guy if ever I saw one. Special needs and has a heart and soul of gold.

Chris is one of Big Stone’s best residents. Wholeheartedly supports the student athletes in his community.

Anderson Co (TN) has a great entrance too, with a great fireworks show and dry ice as the team comes out of a fieldhouse that has a facade like a barn and while the sound of a cattle stampede plays over the PA. Their habit of the recording of a cow mooing over the PA before a big 3rd down is a little cheesy though.

Chris is in a lot of ways the backbone of Union High School athletics. Everyone from BSG/Appalachia shouldn’t be able to say enough about him.
