bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted November 7, 2004 This game Being at mitchell , and since the result of the last time they played....i think bluefield will dominate this whole game But try to remember what happpened last season at bluefield's playoff home game during the afternoon
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted November 7, 2004 I can honestly say that i think bluefield will take the top brackett, the only game i think they'll have trouble with is weir , then if they beat them i think its all go for a state championship against wayne
convertedbeaver 10 Report Share Posted November 7, 2004 maybe i have missed something but why is everyone worried about Weir?? from the talk we should walk through everyone.
beaverbaseball 10 Report Share Posted November 7, 2004 Yea i agree but I guess because last year when they almost beat us in overtime but thank god for david perdue making a diving miricle catch to win the game for us
tom 10 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 convertedbeaver, you missed alot, after last yrs game, the beavs have better not look past Weir, and unfortunately, TALK doesnt win games, its done on the field and Weir is a formidable opponent..give em their due
Sources 10 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 Weir has my respect and the respect of the Bluefield program, players, and coaching staff after our encounter with them last year. It's simply a case where you would've had to be at that game to understand.

Hillbilly 14 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 [ QUOTE ] Weir is a formidable opponent..give em their due [/ QUOTE ] Weir is a moot point if we don't go out on Saturday afternoon and take it to Mount View...they will be sky high and looking to knock off the number one seed for sure. Stay focused on the View right now.
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 And Bluefield will have to deal with Keyser in the second round if they do in fact beat Mount View. So no one should even be concerned with Weir right now...
convertedbeaver 10 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 i agree with everyone on here as far as not looking past Mt. View. but i havent heard anything about Weir as far as how good or bad they are. trust me i understand abotu playing one game at a time!! Ba Ba Wa Wa keeps talking, and I keep thinking "This is SO not about football". (sorry, just made me think about the TV show...not aimed at you in any way...just my weird sense of humor)

MavsRock 21 Report Share Posted November 9, 2004 Actually that streek stands at 15 games in a row. There last home loss was a 21-14 loss to Oak Hill on September 27, 2002. Hopefully is James Monroe takes care of business the next 2 weeks, that streek won't go any higher than 17.

Considering that the Mavericks did not score a point in Lindside against the Beavers, and your defense helped a great deal by the officiating crew could not "hold" Bluefield to under 30 points, that is some pretty tall talking. But as I recall from the last meeting of these two schools, you folks from Monroe county talk much better than you play.

MavsRock 21 Report Share Posted November 9, 2004 If the weather goes bad (like at Wheeling last year), we may not need to.
Sources 10 Report Share Posted November 9, 2004 Nice indirect jab, but unfortunately playing Weir is the closest you'll come to actually playing in Wheeling.
