One of toughest kids I've seen, but against monster Appo next week, if Jeb isn't 100%, who knows if Union can pull it out. They woint be scared for sure, winning at DR is huge.

Don't quite get them saying Union is/was overrated ????    Really,  Union is one of the top teams on this end of the state in 2A and has been for a while.  They have some athletes, some size, a legit D1 prospect.  and are well coached and have played a much tougher schedule than Lee has...........I guess their fans are probably not saying that this morning.  

And I heard several Lee fans saying Union was overrated at the game, prior and during game. Oxymoron when they were the ones sitting in 5th place in points by beating cupcake teams

Zirkle isn't a factor. I'd rather have Owens in the backfield rather than Zirkle anyways

Thanks for the insight Ryan. The DB's are very green this year so that made me cringe while thinking about this game. Hope both teams continue to get better and make a splash in the playoffs.

Union played a heck of a game on defense. And Turner going to the double tight, T Backfield was big. It limited the number of possessions Richlands could have. Surprised to see him go away from it at the end of regulation and try to go spread.
 
Richlands didn't look like they did last year for the second straight game. Gotta get that fixed. Period. Richlands can score at will then they are clicking. What a series.

Got a gut feeling that Richlands wins big.

In the end that is all that matters is to bring it back to SWVA.

7-3 or 6-4 would be my guess but as we all know anything can happen. Central will be hard to handle when Collier gets healthy (which I hope is soon) that will be a whale of a game to watch. Thing that stands out to me is the absence of Gavin..no way there are 4 wrs in the conference better than him.

Get past CC.Play Union football and do not make as many mistakes as the Blues made and you will be State Champs.This Blue Fan is pulling for the BEARS!

Chop block was bad and i won't get into sportsmanship. I will get into class. Coach Clifton had to turn around and tell fans players and coaches to have some respect as Jake laid on the ground in tremendous pain. Hats of to you coach. I was standing in the corner of the end zone on Glenvar side of field when he did this and it got very quite.

You and the rest of Glenvar fans should be proud very good ball team 

Congratulations to Union. Glenvar just couldn't stop the pass. I Wish them well in the playoffs.I also like to congratulate my son #3 for Glenvar on a great high school football career.

Sportsmanship aside...I'm just glad to see a Graham team with some fire in their belly...been waiting for that for 10 years!!!

I will end with this as I dont want in a pissing match. It was a hell of a game sportsmanship garbage touchdowns aside both teams played hard and if not for a turnover and a injury they may still be playing. Two good teams one had to lose hate it ended the way it did but can't change it now.

I agree I wasn't on the field it may have been both ways. I played and know how emotions come into play. By no means taking away from a very good team who in my opinion could have and possible would have won if not for the fumble before the half and the injury to the stud running back. It is what it is I saw the poor sportsmanship from players and coaches from the G Men and one on union. Good people I'm sure great season nothing to be ashamed of Union is a pretty good team and gave them a run for their money. 

excuse me for stating the truth but for graham to mention class is just insane. Played them twice that I have saw and not sure if they are not disciplined by coaching staff or need anger management. As long as they were in the game wasn't to bad but once got out of hand tried to lure union players into doing the same stupidd stuff but didn't work. Was a god game two studs for the G men were very impressive. God luck to all still playing
