  1. Bluefield Castlewood Union Chilhowie Eastside Tazwell Galax Lee Burton Northwood Hurley Ridgeview Richlands----LOCK Rye Cove Thomas Walker
  2. I did totally forget that and edited my top 10
  3. Repost, but still great article. I really enjoy Tim Hayes' work. He's great
  4. He's also never had more than 20 carries in a game IIRC.
  5. Averaging about 126 YPG, he could be over 1,000 if he hadn't sat the second half of two games (Lee, GC) and very little in second half v. Burton and LCC.
  6. I have him at 883 for the season. 227 v Norton 127 v. Richlands 79 v. Letcher 190 v. Lee 91 v. GC 30 v. RV 139 v. MW
  7. My man. Thanks so MUCH
  8. I looked thru all those, they didn't all have individual stats
  9. Can anyone provide me individual rushing stats for Union from the Ridgeview, Gate City and Morristown West games? I'm trying to find get a total for Avery Jenkins, but only have four games for sure. Anyone have any info that can help?
  10. Bluefield Ridgeview Pulaski Union Chilhowie Graham Galax Richlands Mount View Patrick Henry
  11. I am not touching that post LOL. Chilhowie is def. legit and it's no guarantee Union would beat them.
  12. Morristown West-18 Jefferson County-17
  13. I dunno WTF happened to Giles, to totally crap the bed like that is wild.
  14. Amen. I said same thing when Union played over there, GC does not quit. Shame they couldn't close it out.
  15. Hah I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that. Greg Olsen rapping LOLOL
  16. lol seriously? If there is a program most fans would not want their high school to resemble, it's that 80s-90s Miami team and their antics. I can't imagine many Graham fans want that reputation.
  17. He was at Richlands for quite a while wasn't he?
  18. Holy hell, 83? I always forget about Honaker. I knew Colley coached Haysi forever but I didn't even consider Hubbard. @swva_havok_fan or someone else, when did Rick take over in Clintwood?
  19. Six sounds right, I knew RHS has sent a few to Tech, plus schools like Marshall. Appalachia had a few too, most notably Clark at Purdue and Turner. I think with the emergence of the internet and all the camps, kids from SWVA have a better shot at D1 scholarships than say in the 1990s or before. It used to really rely on head coaches and their connections but now kids can pave their own paths in camps and with clips.
  20. I was just curious about who are the longest tenured HCs in SWVA. I know Mance has been at Richlands for a good chunk of time, if you include Clintaood then Rick Mullins has been HC for an extended period, same with Jimbo in Norton, but can someone give me exact numbers? Turner I know, since 2011. I know Amburgey is new in Abingdon, Akers has been at GC three, maybe four? seasons, Rhoades is in his first year at Eastside, Owens is in his second year in Wise, Lee changes coaches so often I can't keep up (I know it's Pendergraft and he's been there a couple years but Lee is notoriously hard on coaches), etc... But I know very little about Palmer in Graham, Harris is in what, year two in Tazwell?
  21. How long has Palmer been at Graham, ten years?
  22. That number seems low to me. I know PV had three D1 kids on the 98 team, one to ND, one to Wake and the other to ETSU. TJ went to UVA that's four, Brad Robbins initially went to Western Carolina so that would be five and there's probably more. I believe at least one of the older players went D1, but I can't be 100% sure
  23. Yeah I watched the entire video with sound, totally disgusting. Any coach with an ounce of dignity would never allow that kid back on the team, much less just missing a few quarters.
