Why do you care? Im saying Union controlled the game for the most part and won by two TDs

After getting down 7-0, Union tied it up, then took the lead and never trailed again. Union led by two scores for most of the second half, and take away one of the worst calls ive seen after Union recovered an obvious fumble and it could have been a three score game. Richlands got back in the game because of the BS call but still lost by two TDs. Richlands led for less than five minutes IIRC.

Union led most of the game and the game was never in doubt but it was far from a blowout

Cam is just incredible. He has gotten so much better this year. Reed is a LOAD to tackle and Lester is a do it all guy. Who is 33, the LB? He was great too

Colley would be an AWESOME hire for GC. I don't see it happening but he's a fantastic coach.

And I think Union may surprise people next season. The offense will be totally different but there is talent there. I'm excited to see what kids like CJ Jones can do with a year of experience and Jones is super talented. But losing players like Avery, Falin, Bailey, Bunch, etc... Will be hard to replace.

Who said I was complaining? I enjoy the back and forth as long as it's not mean spirited. I thought the Union video was dumb, but it's no big deal. I hope Graham is focused on Richlands tho and not t-shirts or memes haha

Pretty sizable. RV was top seed in Region D, 9-1, and defeated Union by two TDs who beat Richlands by two TDs at Richlands. But Richlands was playing great to end the year and RV seemed to peak earlier and really had issues with playcalling. I would have had Ridgeview as a 10-point favorite, maybe that's just me, but it's still a pretty big upset, the top seed losing at home to the 5-seed.

Absolutely. Graham is best in Region D, and despite Union beating Richlands, can't argue with the playoff results. Graham would beat Abingdon IMO, and Richlands just beat Ridgeview. Union is better than the third SWD team, VHS, and I think the bottom of M7 (Battle, Central, GC) is better than bottom of SWD (Marion, Lebanon, Tazwell) as I think Battle beats Marion, Central would probably take Lebanon and GC or Lee could beat Tazwell. but there's no doubt now the top of the SWD was better than the M7 when it counted

Tony Palmer and Jeff Robinson and it's not even a debate. Unless Richlands shocks Graham, those two are clearly most deserving

The Graham staff as a whole did a much better job than the Union staff in terms of game planning and in game adjustments and I'll leave it at that.

Union didn't challenge them much, relying on basically a handful of plays and never really deviating from the norm until it was too late, but Graham was VERY prepared and knew exactly what they needed to do to stop Union. The DL did a great job of shedding blocks, the linebackers were constantly near the line making plays and the DBs never allowed the outside guys to block them. that's the biggest difference from 2017, line play on both sides. Union got zero pressure on Allen most of the game (and when they did, he would escape and find Lester wide open on crossing routes. The Union defenders could not keep up with him) and while Reed didn't have a ton of success up the gut, he was still able to make plays. The only little issues were the fumbles, gotta hold on to the ball. Allen had a fumble and Union stripped Reed after a long run, but those are fixable mistakes. I thought the Union defense did an okay job for the most part but they were on the field WWAAYYYY too much because the offense had less than five first downs all game.

If Graham cleans up a.few little mistakes, it's gonna take an EXCEPTIONAL game to beat them. The offense gets all the pub but the defense was absolutely killer today

Better team won today no doubt. The Graham defense was lights out.

RegIon D winner absolutely has a chance. Hell the Region D winner last year should have beaten them, but special teams gaffes and a couple HORRENDOUS calls/no calls helped Appo advance
