Lee highs coach has shown his true colors. Bench 2 of his best because he can. Neither injured and neither broke any rules , just pissed him off because he is a shitty coach and they know it. Pissing contest at the max. It's okay he will be gone in 3. Never should have got the job but he wast he only applicant.

Five Star sucks.  Some of the same issues Ridgeviews field has - too far from the field, concessions/bathrooms only on the home side, etc.  The Generals entrance is one of the better ones in SWVA though and I do enjoy the cannon(as long as it isint fired off too often)

Gate City is playing at an incredibly high level and if they can continue they will meet Giles in the finals. However highschool kids after 13 games, if you include the benifit game, get tired; so we will see how long they can keep going. The new playoff system is one more of attrition than of who the best team is in the end. Heck the national college champion only plays 14-15 games at most with 2 by weeks and a month before the big bowl games. To win VHSL it takes 15 games with 1 week off not including scrimmages. All about the money not the health of the kids or who is the best team anymore. Hopefully the kids can survive the playoffs. The injuries get worse every week- they are worn out , especially the teams with real schedules like these 2 teams.

I just wanted to, first Congratulate Gate City on their Victory today. In a million years I would not have thought they would win this big. They are a very good football team. # 7 is a very special player # 10 to be as young as he is he can sling the Ball also. I know he only got us on two pass plays but there was a couple more he could have got us on. I think he had some jitters then. Good luck to you Guys Next week. Yeah...great volleyball match tonight. Packed gym. The girls played pretty well. I think the scores were 25-14, 25-20, and 25-9. The most impressive 2A team I remember seeing. 
 
Hate having GC football and volleyball both playing on Saturday. Had planned on making the trip to Richmond, but guess I'll stay in GC and watch the 4.2 speed of Buckingham. 

Love the generals but other than Norton they s till have not beaten beaten a team with a winning record in 3 years. That said I think they win this one. Appomattox runs the ball and hopefully the Lee D line can stop them. Go Generals.

I have never said Union was a good team, no where close to GC or Richland or any other team you mentioned. I have said Union would be one and done in playoffs. As for the Lee comment I have heard enough about it from the Lee friends I work with it is a joke between us now. Tiger I was just making a joke not trying to offend you or UVA.
