I think this game goes down to the wire.....especially if Bradley doesnt show up and knock down some shots. Graham is way too good defensively and too talented for a 2 man show to lay a whooping on them.

For those that attended.....did Union clamp down on Dean to hold him scoreless or did he just have a really bad night shooting and just not drive with the ball?

Youd think GC hadnt been tested this year by the way people are going on about this 13 pt win against WC. Sometimes a team has a good game plan and executes well and plays their best game of the season. Tip your hats to them and move on.....you got the win whether or not it was ugly. I dont think GC played a great game in the least.....but ill give more credit to WC and what they were able to do. Id be willing to wager theres not another team in 2A that would go 4-1 against North Meck, Cleveland, Fern Creek, Science Hill, and Lakota East. That stretch included 1 comeback win after being down 17 pts to a very good Cleveland team. The GC team last year would have caved after being down 17 pts. So lets not overreact too much, this team is tested.....not just talented.

GC could have an average game and i still say they would win handily against Grayson Co. No offense to those guys....just think the Devils are in a class above them. Hats off to Wise tonight though....they played really well i thought and GC didnt exactly light it up.

The best ranking Mac had was during the summer and he was up to #30 PG in the nation by 247 Sports. Thats an incredible feat....... BUT being #30 PG in the nation put him at like #203 player in the nation at that time. Not even close to Top 20 player in the nation. Im a huge Mac supporter but it is what it is.

For those of you that went to the game.....did Ervins ankle seem to be doing okay? I know he lit it up from deep but was he very mobile taking the ball to the bucket? Im gonna assume he must be doing good

Im happy for McClung if Georgetown is where he wants to spend his collegiate career and he obviously does...but i feel like Rutgers had the superior coaching staff and may be on more of an upswing that Georgetown. They have their issues too obviously but i really am a fan of their staff. Hope im wrong and I hope Macs class brings enough talent in to swing things the other way for the Hoyas.

Well he went and had it wrapped and came back in the game but you could tell it was bothering him. so he went back to the locker room early before halftime then came back in during the 2nd half but he didnt play long before he pulled himself out. Hopefully just tweaked it a bit.....definitely hoping its not a nagging sprain. Could spell bad news for GC. Bradley picked up the slack immediately which was nice to see

He may end up raising his average big time if Zacs injury to his foot/ankle from tonight is serious enough to cause him to miss any games the next few weeks.

In the Blues defense, that one kid for Lebanon can take over a game by himself. The kid can flat out play and gets his team involved as much as he can. I was impressed with him last year and thought for sure he was a senior. However, theres no excuse for being up by 23 pts in the 3rd qtr and blowing a game. Im sure Richlands wins that game 8 or 9 out of 10 times.

Not seen either team play this year but knowing Lebanon is down and pulled off the win against Richlands, im gonna have to say Graham takes this one by 12-15 pts.

Im really suprised that GC was within striking distance with 3 mins left. (no trying to be negative....just didn't see it happening) Didnt think they would would be able to hang with those guys for that long. If someone for the Devils would crash the boards consistently the sky would be the limit. I think the defense is going to continuously improve so im not worried about that end as much as i once was.

Valiant effort from the Devils. Hard to overcome that kind of talent that runs more than 2-3 deep. Always good learning experience

I think there was 6 dunks by 3 different players in the first 5 mins. A fun game to watch if you wanted some high flying action....but it got ugly quick.

not sure about all the district's but I feel safe in saying that Graham and Union will be very tough again this year. Unions Slagle and Mitchell will be a tough duo to stop as usual and i know they have some pieces around those guys as well. Not sure the names of the Graham players right off hand but I think they was a fairly young team last year and they were very talented and gritty as always and had some pretty good depth as well. I'm not dismissing all the other teams from around the area, these are just the ones that stick out in my head that I know will give GC a battle.

I'm in the group with those that thinks this game won't be all that close. GC just doesn't have enough talent across the board or the depth or a big post presence to slow down a team like this. Sure hope im wrong....but I don't see it happening. I'll be there either way. should be some really good games at the classic this year

As of lately, it seemed like GC and TN High had been getting the shaft in the first round.....even though it's random selection. GC will more than have their hands full again.

This game will be lights out. Wish I was off so I could head to BSG to catch this one. Good luck to both teams and hope everyone comes away healthy.

I like that first Benefit game. Wish GC could have scheduled Science Hill and Dobyns Bennett for regular season matchups.
