I can’t believe I’m coming out of retirement for this, but, it’s time to set the record straight.  Kids during Coach Reed’s tenure did not like or respect him. They loved Coach Colobro and Coach Amburgey (who was the OC during those years). 
Have you noticed how many ex-players come back now to help and tutor?  Amburgey creates that kind of atmosphere. Reed never could. All the players that I know despise him

They are the only 3A school in SWVA. It was either join a 2A district or travel 3 days by mule each week to River Ridge district opponents. 

The RHS players knew it too....that's why they got the unsportsmanlike flag.....celebrating their free TD. Let the boys play. I have never been someone to blame refs but this is ridiculous.

Score at half 27-14. Should be 21-14. I still can't believe the free TD.

If anyone who reads this post and is at this game, if you disagree with this you are wrong. There have been HORRIBLE calls and HORRIBLE no calls. The refs just gave RHS a free TD. PERIOD. No way to debate that. Ridiculous.

I'm sure Richlands is loving the refs right now.

Even so, how many kids does this affect? 1%? Less?! If you're sub-D1 caliber, colleges will find you regardless of whether you're at Richlands or Rye Cove.
 
And on the D1 level, SWVA is still held in about as low regard as you can imagine. Transferring from one school to another is like transferring a young trout from a tiny, algae-ridden trout pond to a slightly larger, cleaner trout pond. It's still a trout pond, not a stream.
 
FWIW, guess which SWVA school has put the most athletes into the FBS this decade? Hint: it isn't Richlands. Not a knock against Richlands, but more an indication that "OMG GOTTA TRANSFER MY SON TO RICHLANDS" is far less than foolproof.

Just seems like when Richlabds underperforms the excuses normally lead back to they were without one of their out of towners. If I was a homegrown kid that would probably hurt my feelings.

Every year you jackarses want some Falconman.  You remind me of all the dames out there who are just trying to hang with the man, the myth, the legend:  FALCONMAN.  A couple of keystrokes on here and you guys become entertained, enraged and fulfilled.  Happy to provide a service to you jokers!.  Speaking of jokers,  I’m about tired of hearing the term “Storm Warning†every time we play the naders you fat arses bring it up. Well, after watching you last year at FALCON HILL, and some highlights of you this year, it’s more like “SNORE WARNING!†I yawn at the notion that you are on the level of my FALCONS!  What is there to do over there in Richlands besides go to Walmart, eat fast food, and sit your fat arses in front of a tv & become inspired by the former Kardashian star Bruce Jenner.  I bet the WHOLE TOWN  haS special viewings of  his new show “I AM KAT†at the local pizza store or movie theatre (if you have one).  Let me go ahead and patton this hash tag #snorewarning.  Twitter will be buzzing tomorrow night with that one boys. Questions for the game: can the Falcons win the special team battle?  Can the naders slow down the Falcon Express?  With speed and precision on our Offense we are probably going to OFFEND the onlookers and maybe even inspire a few naders to believe in the FALCONS.  WE’RE NOT 7-0 FOR NOTHING!!  Just ask Christiansburg,  faster than lightning and precise as surgeon worked on Adrain Petterson’s knee.  Sources were quoted saying – “Doc you realize you’re working on a $50 milion knee, don’t you need some help, a wingman? Besides tomorrows night Richlands Bluefield game,  the Blues and Falcons game stands out,  and also the GW vs Honaker game.  Should give an idea just where Honaker stands.

Final is 28-27 Abingdon wins. That was too close to be comfortable.

Yes? Who could miss that? I'm by no means a Richlands fan but I do think they would win if they played Union again right now. No disrespect to Union.

Don't know too much about Blacksburg yet this season. But I think this will be another high scoring game for The Falcons. Sturgill will have 4 more passing TDs this week.
