There could be a dropoff but it will be awhile. In my opinion and it may seem crazy but the programs that have good teams all have nice ran peanut football programs. Since appy and PV combined their peanut programs that have over 100 kids every year and to me that's the difference in the good and elite programs. I would bet that gate city and Richland's also are well ran.

So pretty much we drop Eastside and Crockett and have picked up Abingdon and Walker. Can't believe were playing T. Walker again, might as well play Rye Cove, I was hopping we would try to pick up Honaker or Lebanon or even Va. High

I'm just glad the game is in Va. I'm sure everyone's team on this site knows all about the Kentucky officiating. Is letcher the team we are replacing Abingdon with, I know were trading Eastside with thomas walker.

Don't know much about 2a east teams this year but Union possibly going 9-1 and traveling in round 2 says a lot about how many great teams are in the west. Hopefully a local team can pull it out this year.

One more thing how are you gonna call me a liar when I heard it myself, I apologized to a Richland's family with their little daughter after a DRUNK union fan got in their face screaming.

There's a few scenarios were union plays gate city, I would like to avoid that.

Yeah I agree, reminds me a little of his dad on the deep ball even though they play a completely different style. Bailey is a lot quicker and smaller and Travis would try to run over you. Hopefully Bailey can get a couple rings like Travis and Tom.

Also if bleachers are full were is a good place to watch from on either side. We'll just be there as fans so it doesn't matter which side, just been wanting to see Abingdon's QB in action.

I really don't know why Travis doesn't let em open it up a little more. He a little inaccurate at times but throws a very good deep ball.

Every team has these kind of fans. He's probably referring to the union fans who stand at the fence on the visitors side, there's about 10 of them who are drunk and cursing all game. I heard them last year vs Richland's and it was very bad but you can't call out the whole Union fan base. I remember some years when Kelly played Appy and you guys have a few like we do so get over it.

He also had at least 1 at Richlands but I think it was 2

Never get to watch many teams around that area but how did ft. Chiswell beat Galax like they did. I can't see them beating graham. Not taking anything from chiswell but I thought Galax would beat them comfortably.

Union- 34 Central- 7 Union always struggles with central away but with the game at the park and the injuries this shouldn't be much of a game.

Does anyone know if dan river plays 9 or 10 games. The schedule I seen has them playing only 9 games.
