I get it. But...........I can promise you this for each one of those PF or unsportsmanlike conduct penalties there will be a whole lot of running going on. They aren't just swept under the rug. They practice with a lot of intensity compared to some therefore they play with it. Does it go overboard at times? Maybe so. The PF call the other night as Researcher mentioned was pretty iffy. Kid started the tackle while in bounds. When they continued out of bounds the ball carrier fell, ref threw the flag. Im not saying the ref screwed up, just a marginal call. Graham had 2 "illegal participation" penalties as well for not wearing mouthpiece. When you have been playing football since you were 5 you should know the dang thing needs to be in your mouth.😂

Although your prediction on the Beaver game was off. This right here is pretty dang funny. I don't care who you pull for.

The Tazewell County Fun Police is cracking down.

I knew without a doubt Graham was not going to roll Bluefield. I may be completely wrong on this but I see Bluefield going deep in the playoffs. I'm not sure enough credit is being given to Bluefield. They have talent all over that field. Graham's offense is not where it needs to be yet. The 1's scored twice against Gate City and once against Glass. But...........everyone has talked about how Graham can't throw. I thought they showed signs in the first half of proving us all wrong. Defensively, they are pretty good. Their weakness is definitely the pass defense which plays right into Tazewell's advantage. The only problem with this is, Bluefield got behind Graham's DBs. Tazewell's passing game is for the most part short yardage. Should be a good game. Good luck to both teams. Is it Friday yet?

The one thing that sticks out the most to me about this Tazewell team compared to recent teams is attitude. Positive kids. The people down in Tazewell seem to be happy with their attitudes and work ethic. None of the negativity that you would hear about from recent teams. I'm not saying the other teams was full of negativity but it only takes one or two to change the attitude of others. Regardless of the outcome Friday I hope they come to practice on the following Monday with the same attitude they have today.

Penalties and pass defense definitely need to be corrected. Bluefield exposed our pass defense pretty bad last night. Our DBs got caught looking inside several times and allowed the receivers to get behind them.. Harris(Tazewell) will smoke us on that. As far as Isabelle. He's a very young 10th grader, that's learning and doing a pretty dang good job. I can't imagine being 14 or 15 years old being the son of a outstanding talent like his dad and playing in front of 10k people. I know it's only natural to make comparisons but it's really not fair to either of them. Did he make mistakes? I'm sure, all of them did. Some are not very physical and don't set the edge but we won't mention names and throw older more mature kids under the bus lol.

By seasons end he will be tough to deal with.

From what I could tell GW had a pretty good game plan on covering him to start the game out. Not sure why they changed that in the 2nd half.

Other than not being able to throw the ball, I don't see the comparison between these two teams. That 95 team played angry. Outside of this year's D line show me someone that will come up and hit like Banks did. I know this is going to be a very unpopular opinion but I just dont see it yet. Not saying they can't come together and do well but right now I don't see it. I hope @Real Sasquatch and @BandanaVTDavis4321 comes back in a few weeks and tells me I'm wrong.

I'm not convinced Graham is going to "roll" Bluefield. I'm starting to think some of us need to take our parent goggles off and our 4.3 speed goggles off and put our real glasses back on.

I'm glad to see Richlands/Tazewell still have a good rivalry or hatred for each other. The Graham/Beaver rivalry is more of a class reunion love affair now. Show up, drink a few beers in the parking lot, shoot the bull, watch some football, go home, and never come to another game for a year.

That Graham uni is an automatic ticket to D1 schools. Just take a look on Facebook this morning and see all the future D1 players that are being shared and talked about.

I have taken a pocket knife to many games. Never really thought anything of it. Why are they banning cameras with detachable lenses? There will be some pretty upset kids if Emily Ball can't take their pictures lol.
