I guess we could all talk about the kids that got away as much as we could talk about the transfers. Layth Ghannam a 4* O-Line recruit that's committed to Tech. Layth is a monster. Left Graham in middle school and moved to Charleston, where he plays for GW. The Jollay brothers that play at GW in Wytheville right now left around the same time. Imagine how good Graham would have been had all 3 of them stayed.

Now whether they play football or any other sport at Tazewell I can't answer that. I get the whole "win with what you got" theory. I'm admittedly old fashioned. Kids I played with from 5 years old until 18 are the kids I want to ride or die with. But, I can definitely see where a kid from Mt. View would want to attend Graham or any other school for that matter thats in this area.

Do the kids that get out of cars with West Va tags at the Hillbilly Market in Bishop and get on the Tazewell bus count as transfers? Maybe Squire and Berwind are part of Tazewell's territory? If I'm not mistaken Tazewell has been the recipient of a couple Graham kids that played football at Graham but elected not to play when they got to Tazewell.

Does Bluefield College or Bluefield State play on Saturday at Mitchell?

Tazewell has the ability to keep this close and possibly win it. If they get off the bus with a pre Richlands game mentality, it will be a good game. If they get off the bus with a post Richlands game mentality........it will get ugly. Go Dogs!

Does anyone have an update on the injured Marion player? #85 maybe? Big kid looks pretty darn athletic. He appeared to be hurting pretty bad.

I agree with what your saying so don't take this the wrong way......... Playing Devil's Advocate here. From the outsiders perspective it does appear Harris has been favored. Go back to Chance's career. Tazewell had a very capable receiver in Jordan that got very few touches a game. I recall some respected Tazewell fans on here complaining about the very limited touches Jordan got all the while Harris got numerous carries a game. To that point I guess the argument could be made the QB situation between then and now is obviously different. Now, Tazewell has a capable QB, receivers, and a good RB. I thought the play calling in the first half against Marion played a big role in allowing Marion keep that game closer than what it should have been. I'm not sure if Taylor touched the ball more than once or twice in the first half. They have to establish the run. I'll close with this. I can just about guarantee that in a couple years there will be people complaining about Tony Palmer's kids getting too many touches. Kinda comes with the territory. Not saying it's right it's just one of those things.

Police departments in Wv are just a tad bit different than VA. A quick glance through the recent arrest records that includes pictures of those arrested and it will be obvious. They don't call it the wild west for nothing. Lol
