  1. If we win out we should pass Hurley off of rider points. The teams we play will have better records. Thus giving us more points off of the teams they've beat. And GW plays 2A Marion the rest are 1A. Galax plays 2A Giles, 2A Graham and 2A Glenvar. GW should have at least 2 8-2 teams 2 7-3 teams and 1 or 2 6-4 teams.
  2. Landon Thompson, Ben Bishop, Dylan Anderson, Larry Issac. 4 monsters on GW D
  3. I'd say B is the right way to go. Drinking and driving is a step to far.
  4. I'm am I just wanted to use my other name. Sorry if it offends anyone didn't know that no one knew.
  5. I honestly had it 42-0 for Hurley
  6. True if that same team shows up we will get beat no doubt. But I honestly think they have fixed all of the mistakes from that point to now. Any given Friday you never know.
  7. Biggest surprises are Graham and Chilhowie Let down is Honaker
  8. 1.Richlands 2.Pulaski 3.Graham 4.Union 5.Abington 6.GW 7.Galax 8.PH 9.Hurley 10.FC
  9. I seriously feel for Chilhowie to even compete. They will have to of improved by leaps and bounds since the marion game. Not saying they haven't but GW is by far the best team they have seen. They will need a flawless game to have a chance.
  10. Salty are we haha glad to know we have another hater. And I know you can't go off of scores. But you'll be sadly mistaken if the same Chilhowie that got embarrassed by marion shows up. You have alot of knowledgeable folks giving good opinions. And one hater just remember hate or not you're still talking about us.
  11. 6-1 Chilhowie vs 5-1 GW this is Chilhowies toughest test they will have in the regular season. My opinion is GW-56 Chilhowie-14. What does everyone else think?
  12. This will be PHs toughest test to this point in the season. I see a close game won by the team who makes the fewest mistakes. I know that sounds like a generic answer. But PH had a very suspect D last season. With an amazing RB to carry the load. He now has an extra year under him. Marion has a good back and some good WRS should be interesting.
  13. Giles 49-0 radford isn't the Rad of old. Now Giles isn't either but they are a step above Rad this year.
  14. Yeah they will roll most of the lower level teams. But there is a vast difference between teams they are used to seeing and the teams at the top. Galax, GW, PH, PM ect would beat them just as bad if not worse than Hurley did. Not a knock on Grundy but they can't compete with the top yet.
  15. I'm not a very religious person but that's messed up. Let the coaches and kids have there tradition. Good on the young men of Hurley for continuing it.

    GW @ NW

From what I've seen of them they look like a big solid team. But to your point they just can't seem to get anything going.

I think there varsity will struggle to stop our JV. Honaker is a better team and they struggled with them.

    GW @ NW

I haven't seen NW yet so what's everyone's take on this game? I've got GW by 50 or more. No disrespect to NW but giving up at least 50 to everybody you've lost to isn't good. And GW should be the best team they've played by a good bit.
  19. Wow that is a powerful statement from a very brave and wise young man. As a former player like many of you I'd be proud to call him a teammate. He will be extremely missed but he will also have his brothers to carry him with them.
  20. I wish them both the best of luck and a speedy recovery. And glad to hear that it wasn't a neck or back injury. Hopefully it's not to serious with his knee.
  21. I saw when he got hurt. I didn't mean to come off as disrespectful if I did by not asking about him.
  22. Man I hate to hear that prayers to him and all of you guys. I have nothing but respect for yalls program.
  23. Ok and prayers to him, his family and teammates
