Lebanon's beat Castlewood every year since they started back playing but this year Castlewood is a better team than previous seasons. I think this game is an interesting matchup. Anybody got any thoughts and opinions on this game?

Yeah. Any person under 21 the limit is .002. But under 21 I think if you drink alcohol and blow less than .002 you still get charged for a crime but its not a DUI. Happen to my neighbor when he was 17. Lol

C but A and B are possible too. Thing is when any person is issued a summons in VA a court date has to be on it by the arresting officer. So if it's a DUI, an arraignment court date is set maybe a few days after the arrest to make sure you have an attorney. Then after the arraignment another court date is scheduled.

I know Honaker gets beat up a lot on here but they do have some really good players from what I've seen. Their QB is an athlete and their kicker has the best leg in SWVA. I'm not sure what grade those guys are in or how many players will be back next season but if a lot returns for next season they'll be a legit team.

I'm happy for Battle. When I was playing in high school I remember Battle was lucky if they won 2-3 games tops. I was routing for them few years back when they went to the state semi-finals. I hope Battle does make the playoffs and has a successful season but I'm not really surprised though.

I wasn't around back then lol. But you're right. Trump's poll numbers go down and then shoot back up and with month to go and another debate coming up it's sure possible. And going after Bill is not a smart political strategy. Def. from a guy who's also had his issues with adultery too. Stay on the issues cause him and Bill Clinton are in the same boat when it comes to woman and misconduct.

You don't have to be brainwashed by CNN and MSNBC to know Trump is done or brainwashed by Fox News to think Trump will win. Trust me, election day Clinton wins by a bigger margin than Obama did over Romney. And this is coming from a non-Hillary supporter! Can't go far-right in the primaries now a days and win a general election in Nov. Just the political environment now a days.

Biggest surprise teams ​​-Chilhowie: Season is going better than expected. Def. after the last couple seasons. -Hurley: Even though they have a soft schedule they have a lot of talent and deserve some respect. Great O-Line, explosives backs and a strong defense. -Graham: Dominated Richlands in the first half before blowing it (didn't see that happening). Beating Abingdon was a huge statement. ​Biggest let down teams -Ridgeview: It's Haysi and Clintwood combined, two schools known for great football is 1-5. Thought they would kill every team they played and be a state contender at the least. -Honaker: Heard they was going be down, but thought they would be doing better than they are. -Lebanon: Beat Honaker with ease and have lost 5 straight since. They had a lot of hype going into the season. -Wise-Central: Injuries are killing them. Team should have a winning record with the talent they have. QB has a Michael Vick playing style with a lot of speed.

That's very interesting. I'd love to ask Colley about that one.

Chilhowie's the dark horse team in 1A West this year. They've improved a lot and has some real talent, particularly the Sanchez kid. I can see Chilhowie playing Wythe tough but Wythe pulling away eventually and getting the win.

I'm not so sure Hurley will run up the score on Honaker. They let up on Grundy at 56 early in the 3rd and that was it. Greg Tester is too much of a class act of a coach to do that. Actually that's what makes him a great coach.

Hurley folks didn't forget all them years Grundy ran the score up on them and look what's happening now. Honaker may be facing the same Justice Friday night that Grundy did.

I predicted 42-0. I know Richlands could put up 70+ easily, but Mance has never run the score up on Grundy, and he could've if he really wanted to over the years. I think he's had a good relationship with the Grundy coaches over the years and shows them a lot of respect when they play.

More like 36-21. Richlands has a good kicker that doesn't miss many extra points! Hahaha

Wow, I didn't know all that. That's crazy how much depth they have that some of their top players can take a game off to rest up. I guess it's that time of the season to start looking ahead to the playoffs and with Abingdon coming up too. Smart coaching.

I don't see Richlands resting any starters period for this game. Mance may start pulling starters out in the 2nd quarter if it's a one sided game. Richlands 42-0.

Union is playing some good football right now and I don't really see Central challenge them the least bit. I feel for Central cause it seems they've hit a wall with injuries and some sloppy playing of late and their a far better team than that. Unfortunately I see the playoffs slipping away from them. Union 42-7.

Graham is consistent in the way they play, Galax is not. They beat Wythe and Giles then loses to Fort Chiswell. Depends what Galax shows up. Galax at their best gives Graham a tough game. Galax not playing at their best, Graham should win handily. I wont be surprised if this plays out just like the Abingdon game.

Castlewood will beat Eastside. They have what it takes to beat Burton and Lebanon too if they play to their full potential and don't choke. That would really do Hurley a favor.

I couldn't agree more. Teams like Giles and Richlands have set the bar so high the last decade that if they lose 2 or 3 games in a season some people start questioning everything, even though their still some of the better teams in SWVA. It's unfortunate but those people will always exist.
