Mac had 7 points in their win versus South Florida. Georgetown came back from being down 11 and forcing OT.. Won 76-73 I think.. South Florida was terrible from Free throw line and Georgetown was pretty good. Very proud of Mac and believe he is going to show critics he can adjust to whatever challenges are thrown at him and rise above it!

The fumbles killed Ridgeview being in the Red Zone. Losing 2 of their best players to injury in the 1st quarter hurt a bunch also. Congrats to Richlands. Think the 1st drive of 98 yds set the tone for the game. Qb of Richlands had a heck of a game. Think the next game against Graham will be closer.. I'm picking an upset! Richlands 28-27!

I'm rooting for the Union Bears. Fumbles killed them in the Abingdon game. Think they had 5. Field conditions may be a factor again next Sat. Watched last years game between these two teams . Will be a much different game Sat. Think Union is down from last year and Graham is up. Without James Mitchell this is a tougher game versus Graham. Hoping for a 28-27 Bears win!

Very Heartbroken to hear this about Devon. He played in our FCA Va -Tenn All Star Game at Science Hill and was such a nice young man. The best player ever to represent Va versus those Tenn guys. He scored 3 touchdowns and rushed for nearly 150 yards against Tennessee's best. He was our MVP. I followed his career at Marshall . What a great career for the Thundering Herd. Prayers for his family, friends, and the Richlands community.

I spoke to James a few days ago. He mentioned Clemson had their eyes on another tight end. My personal thought is that he will be a Hokie. I could be wrong. He did get an offer from Georgia and his older sister attends college there....

Coached by Wayne Rasnic , former Va High Coach . Tenn will feature Gavin Grubb of Sullivan East, and other seniors from Northeast Tenn. Coached by John Dyer of Sullivan East and Roby Witcher of Tenn High. Should be a great game. 3 point contest and Slam Dunk Challenge that evening. Girls game features Lexi Kiser of Graham, Brooke Hammonds of Lee, Savannah Dunford and Carlie Musick of Ft. Chiswell, Jade Jarvis of Rural Retreat , Tianna Crockett of GW, Malee Lambert of Bland County and Tara Deel of Honaker, Margaret Wagner of Marion.

Just curious why you think it is bad for a local team to beat Martinsville? If Ridgeview played Martinsville Thursday ..would it be unfortunate if Coach Frazier won ??

Radford versus George Wythe..I go Radford 70-66 over GW Central Lady Warriors versus Martinville...Picking Central 50-47 in a tight game George Wythe girls 47-44 over Parry M Robert E. Lee 72-67 over Amelia County All these game should be great to watch. Won't be able to go watch. Did see 4 games at Va High yesterday. Great crowds and fan support.
