Luciesut reacted to Deleted Account in Anyone Got Bag Balm?
I need hundreds of cases, due to the astronomical amount of butthurt I'm seeing on Facebook. I am far from a Trump fanboy, but the same suspects who gloated like they won the Super Bowl in 2008 and 2012 are posting some of the most vile, hateful, and downright most disgraceful spiels I've ever seen.
We all share this nation. This isn't a game. There is no reason to do a victory dance, and there is no reason to whine like my 3-year-old when I don't give him a sucker.
Here's a thought: pray. Maybe, just maybe. Pray for healing, and pray for understanding to accept the things you cannot change. We are a melting pot, and some folks will be the majority ingredient. It just so happened to be the conservatives this time.
Looking forward to the morning, and January 20th...my daughter'a birthday and the birth of this nation's 45th President.

Luciesut reacted to local_insight in Richlands gets 2 new transfers.
As of 02/04/17 Richlands High School enrolled 2 transfers from Hurley High School. Unable to release names at this time. Personally saw them in the weight room and they are 2 bruisers. One will play Line backer and the other played defensive line.

Luciesut reacted to futbolking in Bluefield College football needs change.
My opinion:
1. They don't belong in the Mid South Conference, they are way out of their league. That is one of the best NAIA Conferences in the country, if not the best.
2. Fans are not going to come watch them lose all of the time.
3. Very few local athletes are recruited to play there.
4. There is a tremendous amount of player turnover, which leads to inconsistency.
I believe they should either change conferences and start playing teams more their speed, or drop the football program altogether. Not a lot of fan support attending these games.
This community is football CRAZY. If they are in a league in which they can be competitive and they recruit a few local athletes, attendance would be up....and they would get more "w" s.
The Athletic Director and the President of the College need to get on the ball and try to turn this thing around or just drop the football program completely. It has to be losing money for the school, there is no way that it is profitable.
Start recruiting kids based on athleticism and character... I won't go into details about that, just had a bad experience on campus last weekend and I'll leave it at that.
What does everybody think? It's been a few years now that football has been back at Bluefield College. I just think it could have and should have been done differently.
Can they play as an independent and pick up teams more their speed?

Luciesut reacted to ThomasDenton in Dog to a good home
I have a dog that needs a good home asap. My family can't afford to keep him and he's just not getting the attention he needs (his lot is also in pitiful shape, but we can't let him roam free because of the neighbors). He's a male chow/lab mix, about 5 or 6 years old, has had his shots, is not neutered, and is very playful 24/7. I've tried contacting no-kill shelters (I don't want to send him to a regular one) but they're all full. If anyone knows of a place to send him or of anyone who wants a dog, just send me a pm or comment on here. Whoever gets him can also have the doghouse we built, it's wood with a metal roof and really sturdy.
