I am not going to make my predictions, because all it is right now is hype. VA High is improved, and has a lot of athletes. Tazewell has won a few games, but have lost a lot of talent. This one will be interesting and tell a lot about both teams expectations.

Bradshaw is the fastest - twitchiest of them all. Fastest in SWVA….no question.

They return their entire line except 1 player. If Bradshaw would have played in the Union game, it would have been a different ballgame, plus Graham was coming off a quarantine. With the addition of the transfers, I would say Graham should be a heavy favorite in Region D.

This Lebanon Team has a better pitching staff than the 19 team, but is no where near as good with the bats as that team. It also hasn’t had to play the competition it had to in 19. 1-4 is the same kids, but 5-9 isn’t as good offensively. I wouldn’t compare this team to JJK teams of the 90s. I am saying Chatham is more talented top to bottom even though it is you talent, and Lebanon has the equalizer in Big Buc. Chatham doesn’t have a Potojecki on the mound, and that could prove the difference in Lebanons favor.

Chatham probably has the all around more talented team top to bottom, but Buchanan is the Equalizer on the mound. I wouldn't count out Paige County, they have a pitcher as good if not better than Buchanan!

There will be no upset in GC today! That goat path, crab grass field may make for a few errors, but I see this being a run rule!

Lebanon is definitely the favorite coming in, but they have had very close games with VA HIGH and Tazewell. There isn't a sure thing that they reach state. If pitching falls right for both of those teams in the Region, Lebanon will have their hands full. VA High has faced older Buchanan twice, and put the ball in play against him quite a bit in the last matchup. If you get caught looking ahead, one of those 2 teams could bite you!

Would be "REALLY SURPRISED" if MANCE came back. He is making 2 times the amount of money he made in Tazewell County, plus VA retirement.

Top 4 teams from each district make the region. For the state tournament, it is only the Region Champions that move on.
