I would say he has proven that he can win games and playoff games as a head coach.
I was still holding out hope that they would let the fans call the plays using an app. Vote all week on who starts and what position like America's Got Talent.
I wonder if you would like to have had people judge you as a teenager from a distance based on your actions in a competition and the sins of your father. I know I wouldn’t have.
this
sum of these guys or gals on here are really good at thrwoing stones
Well, the million dollar question isn't whether or not they have away bleachers, but whether or not they have a PA to play gratuitous amounts of Tyler Childers music all night.
I believe this game will come down to who is conditioned the best and doesn't get tired in the fourth quarter. Battle got pretty banged up last Friday and may be without some players or not at 100%
As to the current topic of loosing interest in Football, it's never a good thing when I drive by BATTLE on a Sunday and see that they have 20+ players out on the baseball field practicing with the some of the coaches.
God made football when he saw man needed legal violence to help release frustration
he also saw the state of man maybe not man in 2019 coming
after having seen graham in live action this past week even with the miscues they had
they are still the team to beat in Region 2D and more than likely the state and tazewell seems to be much improved but im still saying graham by at least 2 tudders
Lol. Priorities man. Yes, I will be primarily at D-B events moving forward because my girlfriend's son goes to school and is a student athlete there. It's very possible also that in a few years, I will be a Letcher Central fan, since that is where my daughter will eventually be going to high school.
I will still be at Ridgeview events when it doesn't conflict with anything else. I didn't tuck my tail and run. :-)
I'm not bitter about nothing just stating facts, as I have seen it first hand. I'm not a part of the AOA and never will be, but have alot of friends and family that have been. It has never been great but the last 5 to 7 years has been pathetic!
Whether you deem that officiating has gotten worse or better (most would argue at the upper levels even it has gotten much worse in recent years) adjusting the structure of the AOA was the proper thing to do. Its probably the best thing for the schools also in reality.
yes please explain, because from what i can tell its definitely been much worse for the schools
they now have little to know say in how things are operated, the commissioners are trying to force school boards to sign asinine contracts that take less and less responsibility off of the officials, so lets make the guys and gals in charge of the game less responsible for it, that seems like fantastic logic
Maybe your sucks wont get 5 or 6 local games a week........officiating has been awful the past 5 to 7 years.......a big part of it seems to be if you were buddy/buddy with the commissioner you always got close games and inportant games.
Most referees in the AOA do it for a little extra money and for some enjoyment, but who would want to keep giving their time to the AOA when you get two games a week and it's at Twin Valley or Council and it takes you 2 hours to get there.........you barely make enough to pay for gas.........I understand these schools need Referees too, but when it's the same Referees going 2 to 3 times a week to the same place, because the commissioner thinks it's right to send his buddies and his "TOP" (sarcasm) officials to local and important games. No wonder they voted him out, not sure that it can ever be fixed after the beating it has taken over the years.
lol someone seems a little bitter
if you think thats only been happening the last few years your scope of vision on the AOA needs serious depth adjustment
The AOA has been in a decline in all sports every sense the principles were voted off the board, and lets be honest it wasnt great to start with even all the way back to the altizer days
what would benefit would be a second organization coming in and causing some competition, along with an accountability option for coaches or a.d.'s but thats not happeing
so we will continue to see the AOA become an even bigger dumpster fire
Right now, the Pack girls just need to focus on beating Gate City, so they would avoid Union in the first round of the district tournament. Union is a dangerous first round opponent to whoever gets them. Loser of that possibly misses the region.
I agree completely with the focus turned to beating Gate City, especially after there big win this past weekend, but the PACK have faired well after losses so far this year hopefully the trend continues
and as talented athletically as Union is, Corey Bostic is still in charge of them
