  1. Pulling up a post with Graham in the topic and getting upset at the amount of times Bradshaw and Meadows are mentioned is the equivalent of buying a Penthouse and getting angry at the nudity.
  2. I think Graham has a lot of solid players other Meadows and Bradshaw. 56 and 15 for Graham are good enough to start DL on any team in region D. Bradshaw will get his points but this game is going to come down to line play. Lomax is a big back and if he gets past the line he will be problem for anyone. Graham needs 56 and 78 to make sure he doesn’t make it to the second level clean. I would love to see Graham line Meadows up over the center more instead of the end. Clog up the middle and start putting more pressure on the center snapping the ball.
  3. I like Graham in this one. D line has been playing really well. I think you will see them respond similar to the way they did in 2018. I think Bradshaw would have made a difference in the last game, if nothing other than he catches the Union back on the last play.
  4. The best player in the state of VA right now is probably Zach Rice.
  5. I think you are correct. The game plan for both teams is pretty simple. Union has to get a lead and chew clock. Shorten the game as much as possible. Graham needs to manufacture touches for 8 and 5. If either gets the ball in the open field they can score. Graham will be tough for any team they play to beat in a shootout.
  6. DT is probably Graham’s strength with Roberts and Meadows. The only time I have seen anyone run up the middle on Graham was Union last year. I think a lack of practice and the fact that they had to move their LBs around due to both starting safeties being out, but I guess we will see if Covid allows it to happen in 9/16.
  7. It may be close this year but hasn’t been close since 2017.
  8. Graham @ Bluefield officially moved to 10/8 at 7:30pm
  9. Well masks mainly prevent against respiratory droplets. Hopefully those farts you are breathing in aren’t wet. If so I would be more worried about e. Coli and other fecal born diseases.
  10. So that’s the answer! Mine magnetized, I have been stuck to the fridge since last Saturday.
  11. The problem with comparing the US and Sweden is the population is so different. We have a lot more high risk population than Sweden has ( I say this after eating a Reese’s for breakfast). Also, if you compare Sweden to neighboring countries that did lock down their death rate is something like 5x what Denmark and Finland experienced. It’s not to say one approach is better than the other just food for thought.
  12. Let’s hope for a good week. I saw Graham practicing Friday. That’s a good sign.
  13. We are a little over one month out from Football! What’s everyone’s predictions. I have Graham winning 2D. Who is favorite for player of the year? What team will be better than expected (I am saying Tazewell)

I have a feeling UVAObserver will be very happy.
  15. I think you are dead on with the line play being the biggest factor. Tazewell will try and scheme Bradshaw out of the game. If Graham’s O-line holds will determine how successful they are. If I am Graham, I would have Bradshaw shadow Jordan to take away Tazewell’s deep option. The game may come down to which D line can get penetration. Who ever gets Harris or Fritz into the 2nd level of defenders likely wins. If Tazewell can use their size on the OL they can win. If it’s close I like Graham with Bradshaw being the difference. He isn’t just speed but has probably the best hands of a WR I have seen in this area. He seems to come down with the ball even when he is covered.
  16. The only fair way to settle a tie is an XFL scramble. Who wants to start the petition?
  17. Would Richlands get in with a win over Graham and a Graham win over Tazewell? Seems like they would have more PowerPoints than Tazewell in this scenario with the Riverheads being division 1. Please correct me if wrong, just trying to do the math in my head.
  18. This is ludicrous, Jonathan Moxon should be first off the bench if the starting QB goes down.
  19. You are all wrong, the NFC West is clearly better.
  20. Running up the score doesn’t help anything. If Palmer feels it was an unfair advantage then he likely talked to Union’s coach and AD after the game. There is never a good reason to run up the score, it does nothing but make the game that much tougher the next time you play. Palmer handled the game correctly, get the continuous clock running and then get your starters out.
  21. It’s probably to give their seniors a chance to keep playing since it’s their last game.
  22. Well too bad we can’t send this to freezing cold takes on twitter.
  23. Don’t know on the district question but on the second hand contact it would be possible to fail but unlikely. They set the level high enough to catch a regular user so most second hand contact won’t cause you to fail. You would have to lock yourself in closet with someone smoking a pack. Possible but highly unlikely to be the reason why someone would fail.
  24. They test for nicotine as well. If they did this 20 years ago they wouldn’t have any one eligible.
  25. Unpopular opinion. Xay will be better than Webb.
