Dear Pink Rabbit... Oh, in about 1986 or so, I went with a couple of friends to a beer can convention in Freddiesburg one weekend. On the way home, after a 48-hour drinkfest, coming down I-81, everyone in the car needed to "lose liquid". We pulled off an exit, in the middle of nowhere south of Stan-ton, to find a place to drain our swollen bladders. With nothing around but a school, the three of us pulled into a school parking lot and proceeded to write our names on the wall of said school. Not necessarily true...the enforcement of the tobacco laws was very lax in the beginning. 15-18 year olds could still walk into a convenience store and buy a pack of smokes, no questions asked. Nowadays, you have to be 21 to buy some cigs...a typical 15 year old would get questioned every time he or she attempted to do so by 2020... And no, 1 in 7 didn't think it was OK then but kids still did it because they could easily obtain them. If you were around back then, you'd know this like the rest of us Gen Xers...

So, wait...the unbeatable team, the team that would beat everyone by 20+ points this season, the best team in SWVA, lost last night by double digits??? Had to be some bad officiating that caused that to happen...

Graham beat Richlands 74-61 at RMS. Graves had 30, Turner-Bradshaw 17, Owens 11, Dales 10.

Graham beat Tazewell 78-58.

I guess they were tired of everyone making fun of their weak non-district schedule...

Graham beat V-High in Bristol last night 64-49.

That's a surprise considering how awful Tazewell has been for...ever...

BTW, Graham beat Pulaski Co. 77-64 to open the season. Graves 20, Turner-Bradshaw 19, Roberts 12, Dales 11, Owens 8 with 12 assists

I'd say, keeping up with games/scores this season may be near impossible. I, for one, won't be upset if he doesn't and won't blame him for not doing it.
