Here's my poll... How many people think games shouldn't be played at "stadiums" that won't seat the number of kids on a short bus??? The reason they are banned from "higher level sports" is because seats are "assigned" and the cost of tickets to view the events. If your view is blocked at a high school game you have ample opportunity to MOVE to a seat where you can see. At the "higher level sport" events, you don't have the choice of moving.

I think you are correct, Goodpasture. First name may have been either Richard or Robert...maybe???? Don't forget, Marcus Parker played on that Salem team as well. Stephen Magenbauer, the current Salem HC, was the QB on that team too, I believe. Salem lost to Blacksburg in the State Semis that year...the same Blacksburg team that Graham beat 26-0 three weeks before the Salem game. Blacksburg also went on to win the Division 4 State Championship that year.
