But that extra 30 minutes of sunlight and heat are just too much for the delicate, fragile bodies of our Scott County friends to handle...
 
Maybe the laws of physics change the closer you get to the Devil's Bathtub, similar to how entering Montgomery County makes a person run a 40-meter dash three tenths quicker than he ever did before.

Have fun riding to northern WV to cover football games no one south of Charleston cares about.  :)

Blaker the QB played today but was probably 50% at best with the busted up ankle.  That killed half of their offense and their defense maybe even more so as far as the pass D.  Can't help but think it's a completely different game with him being healthy but you'll have that this time of the season.  Congrats to Burton though.  Came out of the locker room at half time ready to play and both teams for never quitting.  Games like these are why both these communities our known for having no problem bringing crowds 2 1/2 half hours away.  
 
Proud of the boys for not quitting.  Proud of the season they had and how they represented their school and community.  On to basketball.
