Bluefield scored 18 points off of St. Mary's 18 turnovers while Bluefield just turned the ball over three times.

71-53 Bluefield according to WVTAILGATECENTRAL.

Thought he would have graduated last year.
It is his other son. I watched Bluefield play Oak Hill High School on Tuesday night on COZI TV, which is a local television station out of Raleigh County that broadcast local high school football and basketball games. The broadcast announcer said the Fuller kid was a junior.

It is also on wvmetronews for free. If your cable provider has AT&T Sportsnet out of Pittsburgh it will also be on that channel. I know Suddenlink has it.

Bluefield is playing Saturday at 1:30 at Point Pleasant. Come early. See the Mothman!
That's unusual, coach Simon has always played on Fridays when given the choice.

That's a shocker!!! Martinsburg beat Salem earlier in the season...
Martinsburg also beat Highlands Springs High School, a 5A school out of Richmond, VA who has won the state championship in the past 4 out of 5 years if I'm not mistaken. They are currently 6-3 so far this season.
-
Not area related but Martinsburg lost to Spring Valley tonight 35-30.

Old money doesn't want new money coming in...in other words, old money doesn't want to lose their power and influence.

I guess the state champs this year will be ever who doesn't have a Covid issue.
Sounds like the same scenario that happened in West Virginia high school football this past fall.

Sorry about the repost.

I think JR1 sports could broadcast the game...they did the first Beaver/Princeton game.

Go GMEN,I will say something about the VHSL and the money grabbing ADMINS. they are out for themselves ,where does all the money go?????Oh yeah the meetings they hold in warm weather states in FEB. near sand and ocean. The VHSL profit from the underage athletes who love playing a game.Broadcast fees for someone who gets nothing???It should be noted that WCYB, and other broadcast radio stations made many $$$$$ by sales of ad time , so its different.I have messaged CHERYL several times over the years about the losses APPO.suffered with kids taking their own lives and car wrecks ect, and she was so kind when a cheerleader from UNION lost her mother to murder. The VHSL HAS POLICY, but it doesnt serve VIRGINIA and the tax base that supports these schools and programs. The VHSL would have you believe that they pay for everything in athletic programs at the high school level , when in fact they pay for less than 1% of the monies spent......but of course they are self appointed and self serving to give themselves big titles and larger salaries. The gate should be split after expenses are paid but it will not and most if not all of the monies will be used to promote equality (yeah right) in athletics in VA.
Sounds like you are talking about the WVSSAC...lol.

Apparently, Fairmont Senior thinks they have already won the game.

Graham came ready. Have heard nothing but good things about coach Palmer. Wish him luck down the road. The boys came ready. Obviously the horn didn’t bother them. Your false starts we’re by the player farthest from it. But I could see you being that kind of coach. Then get run out of town when your star qb or other player get injured and out (God forbid that happen). You need to quit being a b!tch and change your tampon. Your team was clearly the better team. If anything, it’s made those boys better playing in a loud environment. You are just a pathetic person. Jeez. We congratulate you guys and wish you well down the road. Your just a punk that prolly got his lunch money taken as a kid and now have the bravery of the internet to be a big man.
Once again, congrats graham and Palmer.
You can just crawl back home and look in the mirror and tell yourself “I told those Union people!”
Next time have some testicular fortitude and come say something yourself.

Especially since the venue in question has been recognized and used how many years? Terrible effort lol
The precedent has already been established...even a VHSL state championship game has been played there.

Princeton only has four AAA. Nicholas County is also AA. The ban on Princeton playing MSAC teams is over next year and they can play anyone that they want. They will be playing Woodrow Wilson for sure.
Thanks for clearing that up...I forgot about Nicholas County.

Not like they had any realistic chance anyway, but this is correct. Princeton was under the understanding that Oak Hill would be in AAA at the beginning of the season, and they weren’t classified as such. Oopsie...
Is it also true the reason they have a hard time picking up some local AAA teams like Beckley is because they are banned from playing teams that were in the conference that they dropped out of for five years?

Somebody remind me. Princeton is still ineligible for the playoffs regardless of their record. What was the reasoning for it?
I believe it is because they don't play enough AAA schools. The WVSSAC mandates that you must play at least six teams that are in the same classification or higher as you. Princeton has five AA schools on there schedule this year. The AA schools are Bluefield, Oak Hill, Tazewell, Graham, and James Monroe.

Bluefield is a young team...they lose the Flack kid and chance Johnson. The Gore kid will probably replace Flack next year. Looney, Fuller are juniors and R J Hairston is just a sophomore. The future is bright for this team.
