  1. I think it will be pretty interesting on this end of the state for D1. D2 might be a tad tougher just because of how spread out it is.
  2. You will have 3 sectional games. If you win those 3, the higher seeds left on each side will host the lower seed left on the other side of the section for the state semis. The two winners then meet in the finals. Remember with this setup you are doubling the number or teams that qualify for the playoffs.
  3. The only check point in Scott County for bear had 5 turned in earlier this week. I was driving by a little while ago and a tailgate was lowered with a nice sized bear laying in the back of it being checked in. There's at least one that had been staying back in behind my house. It loved when blueberry and raspberrys riped at my neighbors.
  4. My mistake. Looked it up and Cain finished 4th by .2 of a second in the 100 with a 10.96.
  5. Cain won the state 100m event last year I believe to kind of show his speed. May have been the 200m.
  6. That is correct.
  7. That last pic there automatically triggers the song in my head.
  8. Actually its pretty arguable that his comments were pretty accurate. Beamer is taking the Phil Fulmer school of coaching, the only difference is Beamer never got the crystal football. Be too loyal and not willing to risk rocking the boat, and you are sacrificing the ability of your program to improve.
  9. Next year will be his last IMO. He had a pretty decent year, but he is sliding. Its just a natural progression. I hope something can be done with Lowe. He is on the books for 15 mil again next season. The starting pitching falling apart was the death nail, but really it started with McCanns oblique injury.
  10. I wouldn't be worried about Clemson's defense. Their D is terrible. You just have to outscore them.
  11. I want to say something but dont want to jinx anything.
  12. Cards back down 6-5
  13. Yes. Both played safety I believe. I know for usre Julius did. They had good people in front of them, but next to nothing got by Julius without getting whacked. I think they may have only given up 100 yards to a team once in 98 or some crazy stat like 6 points in the regular season.
  14. http://blogs.thescore.com/nfl/2011/09/26/i-dunno-mike-these-roughing-the-passer-calls-are-thrown-around-pretty-fairly/
  15. His tone came across pretty whiney. Besides let your coach take care of it.
  16. He holds the ball too long trying to make a read and hasn't even been hit the most in the league this year as a QB. I hate the flags they throw now for clean hits on QBs. It seems to matter more who the R is than who the QB is IMO.
  17. Happy Valleys running backs weren't any bigger than your average backs around here. Bigger than some, but smaller than quite a few. According to their website: 5 Jaylen Simmons RB/LB JR 5'11" 221 30 Zack Ball RB/LB SR 6'3" 183 and look at the size of this monster FB: 32 Landon Baker RB/LB SR 5'8" 160
  18. Tri-Cities Christian
  19. In HS (unless you are in Texas or Connecticut I think) the ball does not have to be catchable for their still to be PI. As for a runback FG, unfortunately if there is an inadvertent whistle, then the TD would have to be brought back. IW's are one thing that can get you in some serious hot water as an official.
  20. Feeling a little better after tonight?
  21. With St. Louis loss tonight giving the Braves a 2 game lead with 6 to play of each, I bank on them getting it done with 1 to spare. Braves go 3-3. Cards go 4-2. Hudson wins his last 2 starts, and Minor gets a W in his start.
  22. Double agreed.
  23. A family member a distant cousin of mine traced one side of my families a few years ago back to William the Bastard so they said. Whether thats true or not, who knows. I haven't seen it.
