Holston, Rural Retreat and John Battle probably have the market cornered on this topic. Seems like all were in games decided multiple times by the last play. Will there be an ATW this week? Missed not having one last week.

That would be a heckuva tough scrimmage for the Spartans.

I would guess Saturday since they close to play today. Wouldn’t expect them to do a short week.

I think in the end I picked Grayson tonight but was a switch off of Graham if I remember right. May be wishing I had stuck with it now.

Agreed. He’s getting there. RC is blessed with some talent along the front. Being able to slide Jay Bowen from TE to LT was a great opportunity. Jay is solid and has great feet. Dakota Meade and Trevor Darnell are both agile strong guards and Austin has been solid at center. Cooper Bowen has come in when someone has been injured and performed like a starter too.

Probably should be district lineman of the year but probably wouldn’t get that kind of recognition across the district since he is a freshman. I have a lot of confidence he’s going to get better and better the way he works too.

I’m guessing there was a weather concern. Hadn’t talked to the staff about it.

That would be somewhat surprising to me. If they are going to spend money on a recruiting firm I would think they would entertain opportunities from outside the UVA Wise family.

They could do worse and hire George Quarles.

With HS rules I didn’t completely disagree with the call. He had also shanked a short FG attempt to end the first half that didn’t make it to the crossbar. Miss it there and TS gets the ball at the 20 instead of inside the 10. That being said not sure why Chilhowie got away from the counters that got them to that point on the field when they got to the 10.
