No denying what Appomattox has done recently. Impressive and unmatched. Watched them play Graham past 2 years and can say they look to be a class act. Having said that, since coach Palmer has been at the helm, he has led us out of the desert for which we wandered for too many years. Let’s hope he can win a few more. Get the feeling we will be seeing Appomattox more in the future as they were young this year yet a really good team. I feel like we have some talent coming up too.

Well, as to the Class 2 predictions, Calpreps is 0 for 3 so far. Here’s hoping the GMen prove them right today.

Can think of 2 pretty good ones at Mitchell stadium. Need help with the years though. Bluefield and Martinsburg. Both ranked number one in AA and AAA. Nate Sowers was qb for Martinsburg. Bluefield won 42-35 I think. The other was Graham and Gate City maybe late 90’s. Triple overtime. Gate City had Houseright. Gate city won that one.

It was the year Bluefield was #1 in AA and Martinsburg was #1 in AAA. Bluefield beat them like 42-35. Unbelievable game. Martinsburg QB went on to play at WVU. First name was Nate. Can't remember last name. One of best games I've ever seen.
