  1. Most of the time I agree with you, but I beg to differ that it would only serve to be an individual pick-me-up. The whole team would have have celebrated if it was good. C'mon man!
  2. That's what I was trying to say. Could've been a huge bright spot in the season. Missing it would have no bearing whatsoever on the game. Geez. We are talking about a team that will be 1-20 over the past two seasons. I would let him try. We aren't talking risking the game here.
  3. Why not let him try? He's a senior. If he makes it, he goes out on a high note. Do you really think it matters how far Richlands has to go to score?
  4. Preacher goes to the nursing home to visit a church member. While there he helps himself to a bowl of peanuts by her bed. As they chat for sometime, he proceeds to eat all of the peanuts. When he got ready to leave, he realized he had eaten all of the peanuts. Preacher says to her " Sally, I'm sorry that I ate all of your peanuts. When I come back to see you, I will bring you some more." Sally said to the preacher " Don't worry about it. I already sucked all the chocolate off of those ones."
  5. It stands for No Basketball Again. Just like 1999. It took them til now to recover. Fools. Didn't learn a thing. Doesn't bother me though. Still got the NFL and college football/basketball.
  6. Probably more times than Gman has posts on this board. lol
  7. Bottom line is that it was time for a change. When you lose control of your program, and lose support of the community, you need to make a change. This was the time. Anyone who went to the games this year saw this on and off the field. There were games where there couldn't have been more than 500 people in the stands. That was sad to see folks.
  8. Does anyone have scores from tonight's games?
  9. This is the second or third year that it has been single elimination. No more pool play with four games guaranteed.
  10. I loved the WCW on TBS in the late 70's into the 80's. The Freebirds, Butch Reed, Tommy Rich, Buzz Sawyer, Tito Santana, etc.
  11. Never will understand it. Why go away from what you do best, and panic so early?
  12. Bradshaw graduated in 2004, I believe. He was a sophomore on the 2001 team that lost to Harrisonburg.
  13. I wasn't trying to be. I answered your question whether he needed the surgery. I just clarified that it is a ligament tear, and not just having a muscle stretched. Good grief.
  14. That is up for debate. Most experts believe that any mph gained following the surgery comes from all the rehabilitation and strengthening, and not necessarily from only the surgery itself.
  15. First of all, he needed the surgery. Second, it does not involve a muscle, but a ligament.
  16. In reality, Graham's schedule outside the district isn't close to what it was in the past with the likes of Gretna, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Greenville(TN), GW-Danville, etc. It has gotten alot softer the past two years. I don't see how you can give them credit for playing a tougher schedule. The only mainstay has been Bluefield.
  17. Doesn't all funds go through the athletic department?
  18. I'm not sure what we are supposed to think. I do know one thing. This Grundy team is the same group who endured loss after loss for several years, but never quit once in any game I saw them play. They are a much different team now. I expect Graham will see that on Friday night. Confidence among the faithful is at an all time low. I expect them to come out on the short end of the stick. I guess that is what my thoughts are.
  19. They won't beat Tazewell either. Tazewell will win by 15-20 pts.
  20. I read somewhere that in order to raise the profile of their program, I believe it's Eastern Washington is installing red turf.
