This Central group that are juniors and seniors have always been small but fierce. Let's hope that's enough for a playoff run!

From a perspective of being at that game and getting a feel of what was happening, Central hit Lucas early, hard and often. He was shut down from the start.. Their run defense is legitimate. Look at how they contained Adkins at Ridgeview. Central was the more physical team that game, but Abingdon had the better passing game. You have to remember Central shanked a punt from their own endzone that led to one score, and another score was on a 4th and 8 answered prayer.... I'm not saying Central will beat Union. I think Union made some mistakes that amplified that score and made it look worse than what it was, but I am saying that the more physical team between Abingdon and Central the night they played was Central. But Abingdon has more athletic receivers that made the difference. I think it will be a good game this Friday night, a dog fight. Too bad Bullet Park won't be packed out like normal.

If Abingdon has 3 or more turnovers then Union has a chance. If Abingdon makes no mistakes, 4 TD win.

Rye Cove is in quarantine and forfeited.

From watching the game objectively, I felt like Tazewell was a 2 TD better team and let Richlands hang in there with those penalties. Just my opinion.

They just moved the game to Saturday at 2pm I saw on Twitter. So looks like they are playing.

I'm not saying play 4 games in a seven day period. I'm saying be creative with your open week and make up at least one game. Nobody was saying it was irresponsible when teams were playing Monday and Saturday in the same week at the beginning of the year.

Word on the street is John Battle is not going to try to make up the two games they canceled. I hate it for the Seniors of all three teams involved. Central and Ridgeview are willing to make these games up during the week or do whatever it takes to make these up. It is being said that is Battle is totally uncooperative. I hope that's not true.

This is going to put a team that doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the playoffs , in the playoffs, over a team that does.... mark my words.

Punish the teams that were ready to play? Doesn't seem like an intelligent decision to me.

They played real good vs Richlands at the end of 2019 season.

Did you mean schools that run the same system and have their starters back will have it tougher or easier? Seems to me like if you are doing what you did last year it will take less learning curve.... Unless you are saying that the teams with new coaches have the element of surprise?
