Yes, they are undefeated, but undefeated against a weak schedule has to be taken with a grain of salt.
FIU...Maryland...Memphis...Cincinnatti...East Carolina...Navy...Austin Peay...SMU...UConn...Temple...South Florida...Memphis in the CCG...Come on, man!
I have no problem giving them as much credit as they deserve, but they don't deserve to be considered among college football's elite. That's just silly.
By your logic, UGA and Bama both losing to a 4 loss team speaks volumes as well. Regardless, no team should lose their last game before the selection and get in.
Bama just beat the #1 team in the nation on a neutral field. Sorry. They proved you wrong.
And remember, Auburn was only a two-loss team when both Bama and UGA lost to Auburn at Jordan Hare. And since Auburn lost to a 4-loss LSU team, you just put your foot in your mouth. Get your story straight.
Starting a thread touting the team that just beat you because you lost your last two games on a neutral field is weak, at best. As I said before, look at the schedule for UCF and maybe, just maybe you'll see how they became undefeated so easily. Their strength of schedule was ranked 103rd in the nation. If that doesn't explain it, nothing will convince you.
Now, with the win, the folks picking and choosing the CFP teams are left with egg on their faces for the second year in a row. The only undefeated team in the country sits outside after beating a team that owns a win over 2 teams in the playoff. I’m an Auburn fan, but it is what it is.
Look at UCF's schedule for the year. They played a lot of cupcakes.
That, and the fact that this was Auburn's 4th loss speaks volumes. Auburn can play at Jordan Hare, but is a mediocre team away from home.
Marion really impressed me 2 weeks ago. They're not flashy but very fundamentally sound. Ford is one of the better RB's I've seen in the last few years...He just won't go down.
I don't think Marion will win but I believe they can and hope they will. Canes 24-21
I also think Marion can win. These two are very close. There's not a lot of difference between Richlands, Marion and Union. All these games against each other were very close.
I'll be at Richlands tonight to see if those Blues can get that win should be one of the best games this side of the state! Hopefully I'll get to see there new run game I missed last week game but it was only Lebanon...Va. High should be a lot more competitive game for them!
I would say the Graham game which went into overtime was pretty competitive, and the Marion game which was decided by 4 points was nothing to sneeze at either. So I truly hope you're wrong. If it's more competitive than those two games, it may not turn out well for the Blues.
As far as common opponents go, Richlands lost both games, but they were both very close games. I'm not seeing anything that makes me believe it won't be close.
Richlands lost to Marion 22-18, and to Graham in OT 20-13. While match ups do matter, I'm not seeing anything that makes me believe it will be anything but a close game.
In the six games that RHS has lost, those teams have 4 losses combined. Just thought I would bring some perspective. It's not the end of the world to have a down year, especially if the opponents are the cream of the crop.
I quit voting in this thread because controversy. It's someone's opinion. Stop whining about it.
I wonder if jarhead is the same guy who is apparently posting mad thoughts on Facebook that I keep hearing about because Ridgeview is #1 in the points this week? Dude, it's all going to work itself out. Calm down. Y'all take care of business these next two weeks, you'll be ahead of Ridgeview in the points regardless of what we do. We know that and we're cool with it.
A few of these guys take this way too personally. My mistake was an honest mistake. I don't spend my day fighting over high school kids and their teams. It's not really that important to me. I do this for entertainment. I realize it's life and death for some, but that's their business, not mine.
Union gave Ridgeview their ONLY loss. And it was a solid spanking. Their star freshmen RB was held to less yards rushing than his jersey number (24). Just curious of the thought process here.
I normally have my blue tinted glasses on at all times (lol) but this game worries me. Whether we have Dan Brown and Horn on the field or not, Grahams speed is going be tough to handle. I think Richlands will hang around but Graham will pull away. It hurts my heart to say it but I will go 34-24 Graham.
Looking forward to the game. Should be a great atmosphere!!!

Thank you for admitting to the first sentence!
Lol! Now that's hilarious. @Bulldogs52 , the most "HOME BOY" poster on this board is making fun of someone else for admitting to being a homer. I almost spewed my drink!

I have issues with UCF's regular season schedule. Check it out, and compare that to the schedule of any of the Power 5 teams. it's a joke.
