Richlands has lost to the following teams:
Union (9-0)
Blacksburg (8-1)
Byrd (8-1)
Bluefield (10-0)
Marion (9-1)
Graham (8-1)
In the six games that RHS has lost, those teams have 4 losses combined.  Just thought I would bring some perspective.  It's not the end of the world to have a down year, especially if the opponents are the cream of the crop.

Okay I've been quite long enough on this subject.  If your team is winning its easy to set and bask in the glory, but when a team is having a down year, or even a few, its easy to point fingers, and throw slurs around like you know what the heck you are talking about.  Loosing is tough, no matter who you are, but its even tougher when those you rely on for support let you down.  I've seen it from someone from GC and I've seen it from someone from Richlands this year, and I say shame on you.  If you can not support your team in the lean years, (when you are needed the most) then don't bother to call yourself a fan, and by all means don't call other people out and say they are jealous of a teams success.  Real fans do not get jealous of other teams, and they will stand by their team and coaches until the bitter end.  Most folks I know in GC and Richlands are doing just that, its only a few that isn't showing support, but criticizing players and coaches alike.  I say to those: "If you can not support your team when they need you the most, don't be so blind as to call yourself a fan."

That was a wild game last night.  The Dodger bullpen has been automatic in the playoffs.  It will be interesting to see how they bounce back after getting shelled for 4 innings last night.  That "vaunted" Dodger bullpen allowed 3 homers in an inning of work in the 9th and 10th last night.  That has to sew some seeds of doubt.  To me, it appears the Astros have the better pitching staff.  But it will be fun to see how it plays out. 
I believe the Astros will win at least 2 in Houston and could possibly end the Series Sunday night with Dallas Keuchel pitching.  He is tough to beat twice and will be extra motivated after game one.  He didn't pitch badly in game one but did give up two homes.  He will be opposite Kershaw who hasn't exactly been consistent in postseason play throughout his career. 
Darvish has 14 career starts against Houston given he spent 5 seasons with the Rangers.  Not sure who that will favor but I've always felt in October, the hitter is almost always favored in match-ups of familiarity.

I wonder if jarhead is the same guy who is apparently posting mad thoughts on Facebook that I keep hearing about because Ridgeview is #1 in the points this week?  Dude, it's all going to work itself out.  Calm down.  Y'all take care of business these next two weeks, you'll be ahead of Ridgeview in the points regardless of what we do.  We know that and we're cool with it.

Mance will never coach another high school team in VA not named Giles. Period. If he leaves and coaches again, it'll be at the college level to some extent.

@Bulldogs52, the only poster on here who is using that kind of rhetoric is you.  Every Richlands fan on this board expected a drop off this season, and no one has denied that.  But you sure are enjoying yourself.  I really don't understand why you're feeling so cocky and arrogant.  Richlands just beat the best Tazewell team you guys claim to have had in a long, long time with Richlands' "bad" team.  I don't know why you are being so belligerent.  Stop being such a crybaby.

You missed the point.  It wasn't my definition at all.  It was the definition of several Tazewell fans here...or at least the "assumption".  Bottom line, they once again had to eat their words.

I think most are realizing that. I think you are the one with the problem of envy... Richlands is not a good team this year compared to teams past but they still beat the best team Tazewell had in several years...

Richlands is a good team. They aren’t great. They aren’t elite like they were the last two years, but they are a good team. 
They have a defense that has kept a largely inept offense in all 4 games they’ve lost this year. 
Theyve moves to this power formation type of offense and it’s starting to click. This is still a team that I don’t think most want to see right now. 
I think you WANT us to be worse than Richlands really is. I said 7-3 before the season and said they would take a major step back. IF they win out, and that’s a big if, they would be 6-4. I don’t think most fans expected 10-0 or 9-1. We’ve gotten pretty much what we thought we’d see.
